Single Island Shores

Super cute & Great Lake view! Definitely will come back next time ^_^

The staff was friendly and welcoming, the WiFi was excellent, and parking was no problem. About the only negatives (minor) were the noise level of the A/C units (the temps were in the high 80s) and a lack of more shaded areas at the dock.

These cabins are great! We stayed for 2 nights in cabin 27 and found it to be very clean and comfortable. Each morning we started off sipping our coffee out on the covered front porch at the bistro table and chairs, and every evening we sat sipping a glass of wine. Our views were lovely! The cabin had a small fridge, microwave, and a Keurig coffeemaker. Our hosts included plenty of k-cups and 2 bottles of drinking water, plus plenty of towels and bed linens. As soon as you stepped into the cabin you could smell the sweet scent of freshly cut wood (although the walls appeared to be completely sealed) which was very soothing. Unfortunately we were unable to use the grills or fire pits due to rain (it rained or drizzled the entire time we were at the Finger Lakes). One of the things we found was that although we had a lot of privacy there was a lot going on in the surrounding communities. It was a great base, being on the lower east side of Seneca Lake. Watkins Glen had a lot going on and was only about 15 minutes away. Our host had recommended a few local wineries and restaurants and we really enjoyed those we were able to get to in our short visit. We had a fantastic time and will definitely book again during our next trip to this area!

We have been back multiple times and will be back many more. The cabins are beautiful and always so well taken care of and clean. Ashley and the staff answer all our questions and make the stay that much better. The only request / improvement I have, is if they could learn to control the weather and have more blue sky days...lol

My husband and I had a wonderful 3-day spring break getaway at Single Island Shore. Although the weather was a bit on the cooler side, we truly enjoyed the warm hospitality from Ashley and her staff. The one-bedroom lake view cabin was perfect for us—cozy, clean, and serene. My husband grilled every day, and we both appreciated the peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. It was nature at its best—quiet mornings, beautiful views, and total relaxation. We had a great time and are already looking forward to returning in the summer!

Awesome Finger Lakes stay! Awesome stay! Clean, convenient and cozy. Fully stocked coffee bar and extra toiletries and bedding. Very clean and comfortable. Beautiful view of the lake!
