Orchard House Bed and Breakfast

We had a lovely weekend here. The room was so comfy and the views were amazing from the window, we saw rabbits and sheep on the fields outside our bedroom window. Breakfast was amazing and so tasty. Mary is a wonderful host and so knowledgeable about the area. We walked to grassington and back. I cant wait to come back again. Best bed and breakfast we have stayed in.

Lovely quiet b&b with a spacious room and a large en suite with great views all around, breakfast was very good plenty of choice on the menu. Great facilities as well. Mary is a great host giving us a warm welcome on arrival Definitely a fantastic place to stay

This was our second stay at Orchard House and like our first stay it was excellent. The location is perfect for walking in the Dales and as a central location. Our room and facilities were ideal and the breakfast was locally sourced. We will defiantly be going back again soon.

we booked this beautiful bed and breakfast for a weekend treat for my partners birthday. on arrival it is tucked away down a small track nestled in its own space. we were greeted by Mary who from the first moment made us welcome. with a short tour of the breakfast room. then upstairs to a lovely well appointed room with good quality fittings and tea and coffee and nice biscuits provided. a good t.v. then showed us the big bathroom across the hall that was ours exclusively. with good over bath shower and space to have a party. towels provided with other bits that you may have forgot to pack available for a nominal price. toothbrush, tooth paste even slippers. breakfast was included and sorted with a sheet to be filled in the night before with 3 times for breakfast available. breakfast was good quality with plenty on offer, and always hot. toast ,cereal and juices. jams marmalade and honey. there are only two rooms so no overcrowding. Mary is always attentive and on hand over breakfast if needed to give advice on places to walk or visit. there is a pub and cafe within two minutes walk of the house and the lovely Grassington only one and a half miles away. all in all a lovely place to rest your head after a walk or ride to an outlying place of interest and great value too. The other room does have its own en-suite.

Excellent accommodation. Very clean and comfy. Lovely cooked breakfast. Mary, the Host was lovely and was happy to chat and is knowledgeable about the area. Would definitely book again. We arrived when foggy and drove straight past. You need to look for the white sign on the side of the road, and the cottage is a few yards up a muddy track.

Just returned from a wonderful weekend at Orchard House. Mary is the perfect host and made us feel at home immediately. The accommodation and facilities are first class, huge en suite room and a great comfy bed. Breakfast is provided with local ingredients, fantastic sausages, and cooked to perfection. We’ve been coming to the area for many years but Mary was able recommended visits that we’d not been to before. Try a visit to the local pub, the Clarendon, good food and atmosphere. Mary even provides torches for your walk home in the dark! If you want a stress free few days, this is place! Already looking to coming back Thanks Mary.
