Hebden Townhouse

Just back from a lovely stay at Hebden Townhouse. This little gem was recommended by a friend and did not disappoint . Fabulous location, we had a room facing the road and the canal which was lovely, there were ear plugs provided if the road noise bothers you but we didn’t find it a problem. Lovely decor and beautifully clean. No cooked breakfast but all you need , pastries, fruit, cereals, breads, yoghurts , toast and boiled eggs, fruit juice, tea and coffee. We found self check-in easy and convenient . We would definitely recommend and would stay again

Terrible shower (room 12) lukewarm water, no pressure and the shower head kept falling off the rod, basically you have to hold it to use. Noisy even with the windows closed as on the main road. Comfortable bed, nice decor, decent breakfast. Zero ambience. Personally I would not recommend and would not stay again.

Smart quality place to stay. Staff at the continental breakfast were lovely - so was the quality and range of food! If I’m in town I’d definitely try booking again.

Best best I’ve slept in for years. In fact I plan on finding the same and purchasing. Breakfast was also 10/10 despite my reservations of it being “only continental” I shouldn’t be too speedy to judge. Was plentiful and fresh bagels and Philly, cooked ham and cheese and lovely yoghurts and boiled eggs. Perfect pot of tea too. Cracking stay in a gorgeous room with roll top bath (room 4). Plenty of sockets too always a bonus

We stayed here to drive into Huddersfield for an event. Drive was 30mins & this location was ideal. Parking is of a premium but there are 2 car parks in very close proximity, we were lucky to get parked but there is also street parking further up the road. Check in is automatic, key code & key hanging up, seamless, worked great. The hotel is very welcoming, circa 12 rooms, we were on the top floor, room 11. The room is ample sized, very tasteful modern decor with large comfortable bed & quality pillows / duvet etc. Bathroom immaculate, good sized with shower over the bath which worked fine. Breakfast was continental style with plenty of choice & the two waitresses were very polite & attentive. There are also numerous quality relaxing bars adjacent to the hotel, so again is centrally located to take advantage of the social scene. The hotel was also quiet, no internal disturbances from the said bars / restaurants etc. We had a lovely stay there.

Hebden Townhouse is in a great location overlooking the canal and within easy walking distance of everything in town. Our room was very comfortable and immaculately clean. We had a free standing bath in the room with a hand held shower which if you like a proper stand up shower might not be for you. We were initially worried it was going to be very noisy as there is a bar right underneath the building but it totally quietened down at night-time. Entry is via a key code with no reception as such. Breakfast is a continental buffet - we didn't eat there but it looked fine.
