The hotel is in an old house, presumably of Spanish construction, with a normal renovation, unlike those nearby. We had a room with two beds and a large sofa, overlooking the street, a balcony and huge ceilings 5 meters high. There was a specific smell in the room, it’s not clear what (like dampness mixed with sewage), but not sharp, it disappeared after a day. Breakfast is no frills, but quite good. Cheese, ham, toast, fruit, juices, pastries, coffee, tea, milk, scrambled eggs. The area is calm, close to the capitol, but, like everywhere else, the locals are very noisy, screaming in the street in the morning. The room has air conditioning, fan, TV, safe, hairdryer.
