Everything was good and friendly staff, there wasn’t internet on first day and they give us alternative cards for 5 hours and it is really appreciated but for 5 stars I will expect no issues like this. But you are on Cuba you need to understand that and have a patience. All in all recommended.

The service of this hotel is terrible. The hardware is OK, but the software is the service attitude. From the front desk to the restaurant, they rip you off without negotiation. The front desk always finds a way to arrange your room very badly, and then if you want to change it, you have to pay extra. The restaurant agreed to one price, but when you check out, they suddenly add double the price. When you ask them, they say the variety is different. They are so overbearing.

The local Chinese tour guide only recommends the Kempinski across the road in the old town, or the MELIA managed by a Spanish company in the new town. All other hotels in Cuba are state-owned enterprises managed by the military. The room smells musty and there are cockroaches in it. When the windows are opened for ventilation, there is also the smell of gasoline from classic cars all over the street. The key point is that the sound insulation is not good. There are often people singing and playing on the road at night, so the quality of sleep cannot be guaranteed! The water pressure in the shower is good, but there are no slippers, no conditioner, and no hot water bottle... If it wasn't for the connecting room, I wouldn't have booked this place, and I will never go there again. I will definitely book Kempinski.
