We were made to feel welcome from point of contact to last minute of our stay. Mark and Jan are amazing hosts Beautiful Band B in a good location. Hope to visit again 😀

If I could give them 6 stars I would. Friendly host who offered great suggestions of what we could do in Harrogate including a festival that was on that we didn’t know about. Very clean. Had a great room with comfortable beds. Handy location not far from eat street. Breakfast was the best we have had on our two weeks in the UK. Highly recommend.

Found this place just by looking for accommodation in Harrogate and it was certainly my lucky find. This lovely B&B is first class in every way. As a solo traveller I was made so welcome by Jan and Mark who do everything possible to make your stay with them special. The availability of parking so close to the town centre was an incentive for my booking but found so much more to entice me to make a return booking already for next year. I had a single room big enough for my needs, the welcome and service outstanding and I'm afraid there is not enough space for me to describe the awesome breakfast, much of the delicious options being made by the lovely Jan. Would definitely recommend Arden House and the lovely owners for so many reasons

Mark gave us a warm welcome, helped my wife to park safely, took our suitcase to our room and when our friends arrived an hour later made us all a pot of tea which we had in the garden. He recommended a couple of good restaurants within a short walking distance. The breakfasts are simply fantastic, so much choice and the Eggs Royale the best I have ever had. Nothing was too much trouble for Mark and Jen and we both recommend this friendly and conveniently located hostelry. Ian and Lyn

Just come back from our first trip to Harrogate. Stayed 3 nights at the wonderful Arden House Hotel. Where Mark and Jan were so welcoming and helpful to us southern newbies to Yorkshire. They made us feel so welcome and nothing was to much trouble to make our stay so enjoyable making us feel so at home. We would recommend without hesitation to anyone visiting Harrogate and the surrounding areas to stay at such a lovely warming and caring hotel. Well done Mark and Jan and thank you once again. Thanks to Jan and Mark for fantastic service, they were so helpful and attentive. The room was well equipped and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. They accommodated me as a vegan and disabled person. Communication prior to stay was great.

You could not wish for a better place to stay. Mark and Jan were the perfect hosts. Lovely room and a wonderful breakfast. We made a late two night stay and will return again when we next travel up that way. 10 out of 10 Finally with parking included added that extra peace of mind

A fabulous place to stay. Delicious breakfasts (the best ever), comfortable beds, excellent central location - but a quiet street. Hosts could not be more welcoming or helpful...even sorting a problem I had with my car. Oh yes, and I even managed to purchase 3 dragons and two jars of home made preserves from Arden House to take home with me!
