We believe the service was excellent. The room we stayed in was lovely and very clean apart from the nook beside the bed however it was not an inconvenience to our stay. there was alot of room and enough to fit our luggage and other things we purchased. we did not have the food but from what we saw it looked quite nice.

Lovely weekend away in Harrogate.
The Crown very welcoming and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Decor a bit tired but comfortable.

Location was fabulous. Understandably it’s an old hotel but we felt the rooms need to be updated. Coffee/tea facilities in the room were basic for an executive room. The breakfast system could do with improvement, the dining area was very dark, poorly lit, not enough staff on duty to assist with any queries. By the time we queued for tea/coffee (rather than have it served at the table like in most hotels we have stayed) our breakfast and toast were cold. We would not stay here again, certainly not value for money, very disappointing stay.

The hotel is simple and clean, with a rich breakfast. It is close to the train station, about 10 minutes away. There is a painting of the Beatles in the room, and the introduction says that the Beatles once stayed in the hotel
