Travelodge Harrogate West Park

very comfortable

The room was nice and spacious, it was clean and comfortable. The room was heated to a good temperature when I arrived. All staff, reception, bar and waitress were all helpful and smiley.

This is the worst Travelodge that I’ve ever stayed in.The view out of the window was a brick wall c3’ away. I was awoken at 7am by loud construction noises nearby. I was overcharged for the meal deal at dinner. I waited 30mins for the pancakes & had to send them back as they were hard, then waited another 20mins. There were only 2 other diners in so not busy. At breakfast vegan sausages were cooked for me which were brought to me before I had had my cereals - so by the time I’d got my hot food they were cold. Staff in the kitchen/bar area were either not trained in customer service or just didn’t care. Based on my visit I would recommend friends, family & colleagues NOT to stay here.

Nice little travel lodge no air con but windows and fan provided cool room comfy bed clean shower room and reception staff and night staff very friendly courteous and professional especially Michelle on nights nothing too much trouble for her and service with a smile at all times! Very close to town and station easily walkable!

Used to be a repeat visit for us to this hotel, good location and nice pub opposite, sadly however this particular travelodge is now overrun with some very unsavoury characters who appear to be long term residents living rent free, all paid for by the local councils. Lots of evidence of substance use and at times it felt very intimidating and unsafe when they were wandering or loitering around (like zombies)!! Real shame as we won’t be visiting again and quite sad for Harrogate too. This is what my taxes are funding !!
