The Inn at Cheltenham Parade

We stayed on a Sunday night. On arrival, we found the free car park at the rear of the hotel, which is a bonus. We were greeted inside by Isobel and were booked into the Penthouse. The room was lovely and we had a roast lunch which was delicious. Throughout our stay, including at breakfast the next morning, Isobel was brilliant, even sorting out my lack of appetite knowledge. The only criticism would be: In the room, the toilet doors are western saloon style, in glass with gaps at top and bottom, offering little privacy. Could also do with a loo brush. Tiny points, which in no way was detrimental to our stay. We will certainly return. Thank you.

We’re just back from Sunday lunch. We had a roast beef and a roast pork, with potatoes, parsnips, broccoli, carrot, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese and gravy, with a pint of Landlord. So tasty. And I can hardly move now. Might be time for a nap

I had an amazing time celebrating my partner’s birthday here! The room was decorated with banners and balloons when we arrived, which was such a nice touch. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help. We enjoyed some drinks at the pub before heading out for dinner, and I was really impressed by the prices and the variety, especially the £6 espresso martinis! Breakfast was fantastic, too—I had the croque monsieur, and it was delicious. If I’m ever back in the area, I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

Very pleasant stay. Great breakfast, went for the full English, quality ingredients. Friendly staff and very helpful. Room was comfortable, a couple of little things let it down (not by much) , dusty bathroom and picture frame on the wall was broken but these things didn't effect our stay. Very comfy bed, nice and clean. Furnishings all very tasteful. Good selection of beer.

The pictures are very deceptive on site. Place itself looks very run down. We were allocated room 12 at the top. My husband is in his 80's I'm not far behind. We had to struggle up flights of stairs with our small cases. A tall nan was in reception and watched us struggle without offering to help us When I mentioned it was a struggle he informed me "we were lucky could have been on higher floor" NOT IMPRESSED. The room and bathroom a good size but not very clean. Bed comfortable but room needs painting and certainly a good clean same with bathroom. It really took it out of us having to climb a lot of stairs. We had Sunday lunch there which I must say was very good also breakfasts. Good location but photo's need changing wouldn't have stayed there if we had known true picture. Apart from extremely unhelpful man rest of staff good.

Disgusting. Don't bother. Far nicer places in Harrogate. We've stayed in most of the places in Harrogate. This is the worst by far. Dogs in the restaurant. A health and hygiene risk. Dogs should not be where food is being served. In addition room cold. Heating not on. Avoid

first time in Harrogate so we thought we would stay here looks nice in the pics we was in room 5 very newly decorated bathroom was a little dusty but over all a very nice room on arrival had to wait till 3pm and it did seem like the manager had forgotten us so asked twice not a good start next day had breakfast which was 8/10 room 8/10 but other people had said there's was not the two top staff was Rowena and the bar man both very helpful but not so much the manager the very tall man i did pick this hotel because im sure it mentioned no pets but there was 1 there and it made my wife very ill as she is allergic to pet hair so her breathing was quite bad if i had noticed this i would not have gone there we had a lot of rain when we were there so could not get about to see the sites so over all scores staff 9/10 well some room 8/10 food 8/10 would i stay again maybe not but did get in at bettys tea rooms quite expensive but very nice and the ivy food was 10/10 for us but also very expensive hope this helps others

Nice room. Relaxing terrace and bar area. Enjoyed Timothy Taylor Best. Good inclusive breakfast. Friendly staff and very good value. Very central being near the wonderful Harrogate Baths. Need to be able to manage one or two flights of stairs.

We went to the restaurant for dinner while staying in Harrogate for a few days. The food was ok but not great but the service was absolutely terrible. The worse customer service ever. The staff couldn’t care less. We ordered our meal which took ages to arrive and wasn’t great and when we finished it we waited for staff to come and take our plates away and we had decided we would have a desert. The staff didn’t even come and ask if everything was ok with our meal. We sat for over half an hour and not one member of staff came near us to take our plates or ask if we wanted anything else. We gave up and decided to leave and had to go up to the bar to ask for our bill and we were told will get it in a minute so waited another 5 minutes before another member of staff came back to the bar and we had to ask again for the bill. It was expensive and needless to say we didn’t leave a tip.
