The Inn at Cheltenham Parade

Had the Slow Cooked beef cheek; was really nice and highly recommend. Only criticism was not enough veg; just a few sprigs of broccoli. To note order seasonal veg as a side. That would have complimented the dish. It’s a shame you have to purchase extra but if you don’t it’s a small meal. But a delicious one.

We stayed here for 1 night & would recommend as well as return if I was ever going back to Harrogate! The area is great & right on top of everything in the centre. Our room was lovely, bathroom was clean & had a lovely walk in shower, however we did have to move rooms as the shower wasn't draining. The room we moved to was equally nice but the bathroom was a bit more dated, the shower drained though which is a plus. The breakfast in the morning was lovely, really amazing quality. Took a while to come out & we were missing our eggs but the staff were great & really attentive. Sometimes things happen but it's how staff react that makes all the difference, everyone we spoke to was polite & caring.

Good value for money. Great location. Room fine. Plenty space. Comfy bed. Good shower. Great to be able to park on site for free. Excellent hot breakfast freshly cooked. Staff all very pleasant and attentive. Would definitely recommend as a place to stay in Harrogate.

Three night stay at The Inn at Cheltenham Parade which is conveniently located for the city centre and conference centre. Our room (No.8) was on the second floor, a good size and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay. It would, however, benefit from some maintenance - scuffed/chipped paintwork, missing plug in the sink and a broken curtain rail (which I fixed!). The stairwell was particularly poorly maintained, with grubby carpets, chipped and scuffed paintwork and the paint on the bannisters patchy and rubbed off from constant use. In contrast to the accommodation areas were to the bar and restaurant areas which were generally clean and well maintained. In addition to breakfasts we had one evening meal in the restaurant and all meals were delicious and well presented. The bar also had a good selection of ales and lagers. Apart from one elderly gentleman all staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a small car park to the rear (chargeable) but this appeared busy and cramped so we opted to park on the street in the front of the hotel - free from 6pm to 8am. Only on one occasion could we not park straight away but a space soon became available - just needed to drive around the block! There is also a multi-storey car park (the Jubilee) over the road, which is locked overnight.

Everything was perfect- location, staff, food and room. Time the parking right (when the previous night customers are leaving in the morning) and you can park on site. Was well worth the price and will definitely return.

Excellent food and service. Visited on a busy day before the Yorkshire Show. Very friendly engaging staff, lovely atmosphere and excellent food. Will visit again soon. Highly recommend eating at this restaurant. Cannot comment on the Hotel part but based on the quality of service would consider staying.
