Tongnange Hotel

I had a wonderful stay. The front desk staff was very welcoming, checked me in super quickly, and even recommended some nearby restaurants. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed was soft and comfortable. The bathroom was also immaculately clean, with all the necessary toiletries and thoughtful attention to detail. The hotel is in a prime location, with a bus stop and airport shuttle right outside, and a free underground garage. This hotel will definitely be my first choice next time I'm in the area.

The hotel is in a great location. Getting around is quick and easy. The staff are friendly and the cleanliness is good. The hallways are a bit dark at night, though.

The carpets in the lobby and room were already very black, with dirt and grime lurking in every corner. The front desk service was average; not particularly smiling, but not terrible. However, the room cleaning deserves a special review. I left at 8 or 9 in the morning and returned at 4 in the afternoon, but the room hadn't been cleaned. I reported this to the front desk. At 9 pm, they only changed the trash bag and added two bottles of water, but nothing else changed. I called to inquire, and was told that the hotel doesn't clean unless you ask for it. If they do, they only clean the room and don't make the bed. I explained that I did ask for it, but the hair in the bathroom wasn't cleaned. They took the power card out of my room, and when I returned, the lights were still on, just like before. If this isn't a unique Harbin hotel custom, I understand it's probably just the hotel's rules. This happened both days. It's unlikely I encountered any special circumstances.
