The only positive was the location. Staff were rude and useless. When we checked in the staff told us we had booked for two nights (booking was for three) and only admitted it was three nights when I showed the booking on trip.com. This seemed dodgy. Then it got worse. I suffer from a bad back and have to sleep in the right position. The bed comes with two very thin pillows (1 each). After the first night a requested a couple of extra pillows and I was told it wasn’t allowed. (We wanted only four in total ie 2 extra) Only after offering to write a good review were the pillows received. During the trip my elderly mother fell and had a swollen foot. My wife who is a doctor asked for some ice for her and the staff said they will bring it to the room, the ice never arrived and my mother woke up in more pain. Overall the service is the worst of the hundreds of hotels I stayed in. I get it’s a budget chain but we did not pay budget prices for this trip as the prices were clearly hiked due to the time of year. For the price I’d of expected to have been allowed four pillows and some ice. Please avoid this Ibis.
