Holiday Inn Express Hotels in Hanover

I am not one person to leave a review. However, I am less than pleased. The room is covered in dust. It took over four hours to cool the room down. The king size bed sags in the middle and is extremely uncomfortable. I absolutely do not feel clean in this room. The fitness center is absolutely disgusting. The thermostat in the fitness center is held on by scotch tape and it is overwhelmingly hot in there. The machines have clearly not been cleaned in a while and there are machines that have clear evidence of heavy sweat left on them. I recommend saving a few dollars by choosing another hotel nearby. There is nothing worth the price tag of this stay.

The hotel is located near the airport and is surrounded by Baltimore's largest shopping mall. It has everything to eat, drink and play. The hotel facilities are very good. It is equivalent to a domestic five-star hotel. The rooms are large. The casino downstairs is a famous casino in the Washington area.

This hotel is conveniently located across from Live ****** which is great. They are clearly short staffed - there is no daily housekeeping and the bar was only open for one night as their bartender did not show up for his shift the next night. The check in line was long, only one woman working, but she never lost her smile and made it a pleasant experience. In fact, everyone we encountered was very nice. The room was average, weird layout and no microwave. The bathroom was gross. The showerhead leaked so there was a puddle of water in the shower when we got in. Then the seal on the door was broken so water leaked out everywhere. The wallpaper was torn and there was evidence of mold

We chose this hotel because we wanted to spend a night at the ****** for a little getaway. We had a 2 room suite which was clean and comfortable. After a nice night out at the ******, we got up and worked out then had breakfast. The breakfast was pretty good with a nice selection of both hot and cold food, breads, and fruits. We had been here years ago and there was a shuttle to the ****** but it is no longer running so we just drove. All in all a very pleasant over night trip.

We have been to this motel 5-6 times when we visit our daughter. My wife is handicapped and requires a handicapped accessible room. We often stay in the same room, which has always been clean and comfortable. We appreciate the staff. The hot breakfast has always been tasty.

Pay special attention when setting up their hotel. When you check in, the front desk will take away your $50 purchase, saying that the prepaid deposit will be refunded after 5 to 7 days. When they ask for the $50 fee certificate, they will Telling you that you haven't used it yet will not give you anything like receipts, and tell you that if money can't be returned to your account, you can talk to your bank. After my flight was canceled in Baltimore, I rented a room. I called and requested a shuttle to the hotel. I verified 3 times where I should be standing to catch the shuttle. After waiting for 1/2 an hour, I watched the shuttle drive through quickly, never stopping. I ran after the shuttle shouting and waving my hands, to no avail. Mind you, it was after midnight, in a city I don’t know, and I was alone. I hailed a cab to take me to the hotel, and a mile ride cost me $20 - thanks shuttle driver! I went inside to check in, and informed the night clerk of the shuttle, and he ignored me. Thanks night clerk! I got to my room, and it was filthy. I travel with antibacterial wipes, so I made do with a wipe down of my room. I also washed my hands, and realized the room had no soap or hand towels in it. Should I call the desk? He didn’t care the shuttle left me, there’s no way he’ll care about soap or towels. I tried to take a shower, and the water was yellow. Luckily, I had my water bottle from the plane, so I had something to drink for my stay. I thought I’d try taking a short nap, before returning to the airport for my early flight. Both beds leaned backwards, so I felt like I was falling all night. The sheets were clean and soft, which was the one redeeming thing of the room. After napping for a whopping 20 minutes, I gave up. I checked out early morning. The shuttle driver back to the airport was different from the one on the previous night. She was fantastic - she was nice, and thorough. I spent nearly $100 for a horrendous experience, not including the taxi ride. I didn’t expect a fancy hotel experience, but just promised basic amenities were awful. Skip this location. The morning shuttle driver was the only good part of my experience.

The bed was awesome, room not so much. Middle of the night the ceiling started dripping water all over our bags. Informed Front desk upon check out, she seemed to dismiss it,. When making reservations asked if they were dog friendly said yes but then there was a $50 up charge. Free breakfast was great . When making reservations I was asked if I wanted to sign up for their rewards program and I would receive bonus points. After listening to a failrly high pressure sales pitch similar to time share pitch I was spoken to condescendingly and transferred to receive my reward. After 5 seconds of waiting they hung up on me
