Hotels in Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi

We arrived for check-in at 10:00 PM and had to wait at the reception for quite some time before anyone helped us. While the room was clean and tidy, the positives end there. The walls are so thin that every sound from the hallway and neighboring rooms could be heard clearly, making it impossible to get any real sleep. The overall experience was far from calming — we left the hotel just as we came in: exhausted. Breakfast was ok.

The staff are very knowledgeable. Eg. When I ask how to get to the long bien station, they give very specific instructions making it easy for us to navigate there. (Don't trust Google map!!!) They even give a ”cheat sheet” on how to cross the road, not to get scam tours, etc. Even the housekeepers are very happy. Service is like in their blood. I also love the eastern oriental style decor of the hotel... very fitting into the Vietnam vibe. I would like to try their more premium rooms in the future. Location is good too, walkable to the old iron cast train Bridge (5min), old quarters (about 10min)... highly recommend a CityWalk around hanoi

A clean, budget-friendly hotel in a prime location, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. The rooms are simple but cozy, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. Perfect for guests who want a comfortable base to explore the city without spending too much.

Excellent apartments/hotel rooms with everything you need. Our room was one with a fitted kitchen which we didn’t use but definitely useful for people staying a little longer. Bathroom was good quality with good water pressure and very hot water when needed. The washing machine in every room thing is super useful if you need to catch up with a few bits, or like us have a flight to Australia and need to ensure everything is clean for bio-security checks. The outside area with the washing machine and clothes hanger for drying also has the invertor fan for the AC meaning it gets super hot out there and clothes dry in just an hour or two. Reception staff spoke excellent English and were very professional and helpful, even gave us an extended check out to help us get stuff packed. The area is a very cool area of old Hanoi with plenty of shops and restaurants filling the streets surrounding, providing an authentic feel for what I would say is still a quiet area of Hanoi to retreat to.

A very comfortable and affordable hostel near the old quarter and the train street. Very helpful and friendly staff. They provide towel, sleepers and locker keys with a refundable deposit. Make sure to take your own shampoo and soap.

Not only was the place an extravagant paradise with marvellous hospitality and a spacious and luxurious room to awe at, but the surrounding areas of endless alleys filled to the brim with small cafés and shops made access to necessities easy and reliable. My family and I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed here for two nights, arriving just a day after Typhoon Yagi had passed. The check-in process was smooth and easy, and I was impressed by the cleanliness of the room and the pleasant atmosphere. Since I was here for work, the room had a study desk, which provided a cozy and comfortable environment for me to get my tasks done. On the second day, it was raining, and I had an urgent meeting with my colleagues. The owner was kind enough to let us use the lobby to work, which I really appreciated, as she didn’t have to. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Hanoi. As a bonus, it's within walking distance to many attractions, and I love their focus on eco-friendliness and sustainability. Staying here feels like you're doing your part to help the planet.

The apartment has an airy balcony with a beautiful view, perfect for relaxing. The furniture is modern, complete, and easy to use. The space is clean and cozy, making me feel at home. This is a great choice for a long stay.

My stay in Old Quarter, Hanoi was truly satisfying. The location is very strategic — just steps away from cafes, markets and interesting historical sites. The rooms are clean, modern and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and always ready to help. A wonderful experience amidst the classic atmosphere and unique culture of Hanoi. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit
