The hotel is very old. If you are looking for value for money, I recommend it. It is a 20-minute walk from Hoan Kiem Lake.

Nice hosts. Wi-Fi works well. Close to the train station and the final stop of bus 86, which goes to the airport.

Location wise it's quite far from any convenient stores or restaurants. You need to take atleast 5-8 mins to reach the closest cafe's. Hot water for shower and sink is a hit and miss. During winter its not so good that the hot water is not functioning when you need it. Overall is fine.

The breakfast was OK. What was really speechless was that when I arrived, they told me that there were no rooms available and asked me to go to the rooftop (they added 10th and 11th floors, and the elevator only went to the 9th floor). Ctrip's customer service attitude was quite good.
