I stayed at this hotel on a solo trip to Ninh Binh and it was very good. The hotel was clean, and the facilities, including the air conditioning and shower, worked without any problems. They also offer comprehensive services and can arrange tours for you. The hotel is conveniently located about 1 km from the center of Ninh Binh, close to the train station and bus terminal. You can reserve a sleeper bus at the hotel, which will take you north to Xa Van and south to Ho Chi Minh City. Finally, the food on the first floor is delicious, so I recommend eating there at least once during your stay.

This is the worst youth hostel in history. I booked an economy room, which cost nearly 200+ youth hostel fees. The reception room I stayed in had a wooden bench bed with a cushion, no pillows or quilts, not even the most basic sheets. There was only one bathroom. Because I had to queue up on the 1st to participate in the National Day activities on the 2nd, the morning of the 2nd was over 2 hours. I have stayed in so many youth hostels, but this is the worst one I have ever encountered.

AWFUL! Don't book!
Not at all as the photo advertised.
Couldn't find the owner/receptionist when I arrived and there was no way of reaching them. Eventually (maybe 20mins later) somebody arrived and took me to a completely different random building 10mins away. The room is not at all as advertised, with walls made of pre-fab cladding which only reach 2/3 up the wall. Like the world's sh**test IKEA showroom. I've been staying in 6-12 bed dorm rooms the past month and honestly felt so much safer in them than I did here. It just felt really sketchy. There was some kind of crazy noise (like building work but inside the building, I have no clue) which kept me up till late, then a whole family with very loud young children in the next booth along, so got a bright and early wake-up call. This isn't to blame the family as I'm sure they too were victims of this criminal false advertising. The bathroom downstairs is manky, dirty and tiny. Didn't feel safe/comfortable to even shower.
I felt unsafe, uncomfortable, and conned.

It's a decent place, suitable for one person to live in. The surrounding attractions are not far away. It has a lively atmosphere. Many tourists gather here. There are many shops and delicious food.
