Fukurai is a small, unassuming hotel that's located on the upstairs floor of a cozy local coffee shop. The lack of signage adds to its understated charm, and the check-in process is handled by the friendly barista downstairs. It it indeed difficult to find, as the signage is missing, so your local taxi or grab will have some difficulties. The lack of hot water made it more difficult at my early wake up time, during the cold Hanoian winter. Luckily there was a kettle to warm the water (but not nescafe).

Khách sạn làm việc thiếu chuyên nghiệp Đặt phòng tại cơ sở 2 (số 1 ngõ 7 Liễu Giai) thành công qua traveloka, 1 giờ sau nhân viên khách sạn gọi báo đã hết phòng, yêu cầu mình huỷ đặt chỗ. Khi mình nói trên app báo không thể hoàn/huỷ đặt chỗ thì nhân viên báo để kiểm tra lại. Sau 3 giờ đợi mình gọi lại phía khách sạn yêu cầu hoàn lại tiền (vì không thể huỷ trên app), nhưng nhân viên báo sẽ chuyển đặt chỗ của mình sang bên cơ sở 1 (tại số 1 ngõ 19 Liễu Giai), mình có hỏi lại là phòng có chất lượng tương đương không, nhân viên cũng cam đoan phòng đúng như hình đã đăng trên app. Mình cũng đồng ý vì thấy chất lượng phòng đảm bảo. Nhưng khi mình tới cơ sở 1 thì bạn nhân viên báo cả 2 cơ sở hiện đã hết phòng, và yêu cầu mình chuyển sang khách sạn Canary (số 15 ngõ 19 Liễu Giai, gần đó). Vì thời gian cũng muộn nên đành chấp nhận. Nhận phòng bên Canary hoàn toàn thất vọng, trải nghiệm tệ hết sức so với khoản chi phí đã trả mà không được phòng nghỉ chất lượng tương xứng. Điểm cộng duy nhất là bữa sáng (dùng tại cơ sở 1), đồ ăn ngon, chất lượng.

First impression: the hotel was in the same building with a coffee shop named Phuc Lai Coffee. We were a bit confused since there was no sign to indicate it was the hotel/apartment. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were assigned a room on the 2nd floor, which was spacious with basic amenities. WiFi was fast. The room, however, was quite smelly whenever we entered.
