The hotel is located in a historic building in the old town, surrounded by lively and many restaurants. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well maintained. The breakfast is pretty good, and the beef noodles are delicious.

This is my very first time ever visited to Hanoi and stayed at Thein Thai Hotel. I have got amazing experience there especially buffet breakfast so wonderful. And the staffs are ready to assist us.

I wish I could give a score of zero. I found the staff at this hotel rude. Breakfast was advertised as being available until 9.30. At 9.02 I was told ‘breakfast finished.’ I was ill so couldn’t join the rest of my tour group on an overnight trip to Halong Bay. Reception phoned asking me to pay for the room and were banging on the door for payment within minutes. My main issue was this morning when I was leaving. I had booked a taxi for 5.15, so early but not the middle of the night. There was nobody on reception. The front doors of the hotel were tied together by a cord in a complex series of knots. I had to work out how to untie these before I left. Locking guests in in this way is extremely dangerous in the event of a fire or other emergency. This was the only hotel in Vietnam where I had any bad service.

We stayed here in Feb/25 for 4 nights and the hotel was very good....the breakfast was plentiful with lots of selection.....excellent location for walking around with shops and restaurants galore....a special thank you to Jesse at the front desk for being so kind and helpful...would definitely stay here again !!!

Hôtel correct situé a proximité du vieux quartier
Chambres très correctes, déjeuner très correct également. Par contre, le personnel est très bruyant dès 6h du matin. Ça nous a réveillé chaque matin.

Not much to do close to the hotel Receptionist & bellman were rude and accused us of stealing their slippers We found cockroaches in the room Not much variety in breakfast. Most meals had pork There are so many hotels in the area with much better services & facilities

The picture of the hotel on the web page is very deceptive. It is a dusty and smelly hotel in one of the lanes. Rooms are small. Toilets are not very clean .Breakfast was alright. Laundry is cheap. Reception is very un welcoming.The restaurant on the roof top has very limited menu, small servings and expensive for Vietnam. Hotel is completely devoid of staff at night.
