Perfect in every way! My new favorite hotel.
I cannot say enough about this wonderful hotel. There aren’t enough superlatives to give it the review it deserves. In terms of style, comfort, service and location it was truly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had in my long life of travels in SE Asia. Our balcony overlooked the lake and we are right in the near part of the old quarter. Mr David gave us wonderful professional service from meting us at the curb to getting our luggage to the room. Even breakfast was top notch. My only reservation was not wanting to do this review and see this place overrun with tourists. Don’t be put off by the Circle K entrance - it is convenient and makes this like a real hidden gem. Outstanding.

Wonderful rooms overlooking the Hoan Kiem park lake and the pagoda. Peaceful, elegant, comfortable!! And the most welcoming staff ( special thanks to Dave). But if you’re looking for grand lobbies with shopping arcades and chic bars this is not the place for you. It has the most amazing entrance through a 7/11 type shop !!! Location couldn’t be better. I highly recommend staying here.

We loved this hotel. Absolutely best location in Hanoi and gorgeous lake views. Upgrade to city view for the view of lake. This hotel has the best service overall of entire Vietnam trip—very attentive. We left a shirt and charging cable behind and they mailed free of charge to our next hotel in another city. Be prepared to walk a lot stairs. We loved the stairs and the beautiful old mansion (especially the rooftop view) but it’s not accessible for everyone (no elevator). Sunrise and sunset views from this hotel.

Super little hotel right in middle of old town.. don’t be surprised when you through the small circle K supermarket hotel reception is up the stairs… I don’t say this lightly but it was the best service all staff so helpful… breakfast a la carte upstairs lots of options.. The tour buses all collect from this hotel…. Bed and shower both good with great a/c and ceiling fan….. We loved it for 4 nights and would go back great experience

We stayed in Hanoi when we arrived to Vietnam and again before we left. We stayed here when we left, the room is amazing and the location is perfect. The staff was also first rate this is a hotel I couldn't recommend enough.

Wonderful hotel right by the lake in central Hanoi. Circle K below was super handy for snacks and drinks. Lovely little room that was thoughtfully designed. Enjoyed sitting on the balcony at night soaking up the hustle and bustle of Hanoi. Dave and the team were super helpful and always on hand when required. Breakfast was lovely. Thank you.

Super Lage in der Altstadt. Tolles Frühstück, saubere Zimmer und jetzt das Wichtigste: Durch Dave erhält das Hotel 5 Sterne+ von uns. Auf unseren weltweiten Reisen hatten wir schon viele nette und engagierte Hotelmitarbeiter erlebt. Dave übertraf aber alles und setzt den Maßstab unerreichbar hoch. Seine nette, höfliche und engagierte Art war unübertroffen. Er half uns in Hanoi bei jeder Frage und jedem Problem. Er plante unsere Reise mit uns um, da der Taifun Yagi unsere Pläne durchkreuzt hat. Dieses Hotel (mit Dave) ist ein Muss, um die Vietnamreise zu starten.

Stop your search, you have found the best hotel in Hanoi. In the most ideal location, with incredible balcony views of the lake, what more could you want. Dave looked after us so well. He even organised very early check in for us and a room promotion after a very long and early flight. Extremely recommend staying here. The rooms are amazing, comfortable and large.
