Lake View Apartment & Hotel

The location is quite nice but the room I stayed in felt like the bathroom was not very clean!

The room is good, the view outside the window is nice, the front desk lady knows a little Chinese and has a good service attitude.

There are no major problems with the facilities, but the water is not very hot. The sheets and towels were clean. I felt the price was cheap. It takes almost an hour to walk to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. You need to take a taxi or a motorbike to go to the old town and the opera house further in. If you don't negotiate the price before getting in, you will be ripped off. The hotel is located on the shore of West Lake. This is its biggest selling point. It faces the lakeside road, so you can see the people of the city walking and exercising in the morning and evening. There are a row of cafes lined up next to the hotel. If you go in on the opposite side of the lake, there is a convenience store called Circle K, and behind it is a free market for vegetables, meat, fish, etc., where you can see the people buying and selling. There are many pho and banh mi restaurants nearby, but they are for locals. It may not be suitable for people who are very particular about cleanliness.
