Hanoi Quan Hoan Kiem 5-star Hotels

Location is good. 45min from airport and walking distance to old quarter and the lake. Many eateries and cafe around the area. We had a 3 bedrooms executive apartment. Good size for 6 adults. Well equipped but the apartment will require refresh and renovate. The room has a strong smell when we checked in. Front desk team provided great service and very efficient for both checking in and checking out. Has provided a fantastic first impression.

All of the staff at checkin were very friendly & helpful in making sure check in was a smooth process, after providing copy of reservation & passports to confirm booking a welcome drink was provided. Ms Kate was super efficient & friendly & escorted us to the room to show us all the amenities & gadgets. Bell boys carried our bags into & out of the hotel. There had been a water outage impacting the city earlier but we were ok in the hotel & didn’t experience any impact from it. We stayed in room 601, it was massive with a king bed & leather 2 seater lounge, a small (standing only) balcony & seperate bathroom which had a bath, shower x 2 options & toilet, the water strength was good. No English language channels on the TV but does have Netflix etc. As non smokers we did experience an issue with the main AC unit with the smell of cigarettes notable when turned on. There is a second smaller unit which managed well to keep room cool & we didn’t end up using it again. We advised reception & maintenance promptly came & cleaned the filters. Turned out last guests had been smoking in the room. We stuffed up the safe combination & a quick call to reception & someone was up in no time to fix it. On level 6 street noise was not an issue. Drinks in the fridge were not cold, but switching the plug into another power point proved a winner & drinks were cold. We let reception know. Small issues in the scheme of things. Rooms go to level 10 & then stairs to level 11 & 12 where the gym, pool, restaurant & rooftop bar are located. Staff are very friendly throughout the hotel. Our room was cleaned & replenished daily. We had a couple of drinks in the rooftop bar, the views are great & beers were cold& service was good. Breakfast is on level 12 & has a wide array of western & Asian food options & plenty of seating, staff are very friendly & they clean up tables promptly. The food was fresh & plentiful with lots of hot & cold options. There is a plunge pool & has 4 pool loungers & a further lounge area upstairs. It’s not a large space but given the hotels location in the old quarter, it’s lucky to have a pool. Had Swedish massages in the on site day spa, which is located in the basement, amenities are clean & staff on point with their massage techniques. Settling of our account & check out by Mr Rachel was prompt & a small gift provided to us. Overall, we enjoyed our time in this hotel, highlights are very efficient & friendly service throughout, room size, proximity to tourist areas & hotel amenities. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the old quarter. The on duty manager was friendly & keen to know about our experience. The hotel has only been open 4 months, but you couldn’t tell, the kindness of staff is what makes this hotel standout, it’s definitely worth staying at.

Glad to have chosen la siesta hang trung among the hundrrds of hotels in hanoi. Location was close to shops and restaurants yet away from the big crowds. Front desk and door assistants were readily available to assist. Red bean staff were the best. I enjoyed the daily breakfast spread. Tram nguyen is a gem so as rhe rest of the crew (all of them). Both the junior suite and owner's suite are remarkable! See you soon!!!

Everything was so amazing during our stay - the staff was so polite and helpful. Sunny was a staff member that really helped us during our stay and made it feel so comfortable. My dad’s birthday is tomorrow but on our last day at the hotel, they prepared a birthday cake for him. Even if my parents bought fruit, they will help us by storing it in their staff fridge and bring it to us when we wanted it. They really went above and beyond during our stay. Would definitely highly recommend staying at ClassyC hotel.

All the staff at the hotel are so friendly and ready to help you. 2. If the condition of the hotel room was very good, it was clean and well organized. 3. There were many kinds of breakfast and it was delicious and clean. 4. The gym and swimming pool in the hotel are small, but there was no inconvenience to use and they are well organized. 5. The location of the hotel is also very good for sightseeing and you can walk anywhere. 6. If you are planning to tour Halong Bay, you can get more information by asking the hotel's front desk rather than outside travel agencies. I actually used the service recommended by the hotel, and I was very satisfied. If I visit Hanoi again, I will decide on this hotel. I hope my experience will be a good advice for you to choose this hotel. Once again, I would like to thank the hotel staff.

My previous stay at the Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Aswan left me with a profound impression of the Sofitel Legend brand. This Sofitel Legend in Hanoi, compared to the one in Cairo, feels relatively new and has a more compact overall layout. Its location right by Hoan Kiem Lake is extremely convenient. The hotel is divided into an old wing and a new wing, each with its own check-in reception. The old wing is steeped in history and exudes a strong French colonial charm. However, the rooms in the old wing primarily face the street, resulting in limited views. There are only three 'Legendary Celebrity Suites,' with the Chaplin and Maugham suites being the most renowned. They aren't permanent exhibits but are available for booking. I had a chance to tour the Chaplin Suite; it wasn't particularly spacious and lacked a balcony. The service was excellent. Our initial double room didn't have a bathtub, but after informing the front desk, they quickly made adjustments. All arrangements, including the extra bed, were handled perfectly, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Guests staying in the old wing enjoy complimentary afternoon tea and cocktails. The afternoon tea was particularly exquisite. Breakfast is served in the garden restaurant, which offers a more lavish spread compared to the other two dining options. However, the attitude of some restaurant staff was rather mediocre.

Check-In was a breeze. They greeted us with a welcome drink a refreshing cold towels. They also took our luggage to the room so that we could get on our way. When we saw our room for the first time we learned trip had our daughter listed as 12 and not 13 so they had not set up the spare bed and the staff had left. To resolve this issue they quickly switched our room to one with more beds. They also helped us book a car, exchange money and stored our luggage after check out. Breakfast was yummy with Vietnamese coffee and omelette made to order. The hotel has recently been remodeled so everything smells new, there is construction dust and some reminders that the work is not yet complete. The location is walkable and the room decor is beautiful!

1. Vegetarian food options are limited, even though we had clearly mentioned during checkin. 2. The location is quite nice, there are ATMs around the hotel 3. The music session in the evening is very good 4. The staff is helpful But, their room service and housekeeping is terrible 1. The service, specially room service is TOOOO slow 2. The shampoo, bath gel weren't refilled 3. We upgraded to the suite which should signal that we are looking for a luxurious stay, but the room service guys rudely told us that they only give 2 bottles of water per day (in a suite! where families would stay, where guests might come). We have stayed across multiple hotels in multiple cities of Vietnam but this was the first time we had heard of such a policy in Vietnam
