I stayed one night as a solo female up for a heart procedure. I was worried after reading all the negative reviews. Is it dated and basic Yes, but it had everything I needed. The lovely lady at reception upgraded me to a two bedroom unit upstairs and booked a reliable taxi for me early the next morning. It was clean and tidy, there were three working air cons in the room so I wasn't cold. It was very quiet and I got a good night's sleep before surgery. I meet some lovely Asian folks staying there and at no time did I feel unsafe. Water pressure was great and hot, I got milk. I must be one of the lucky ones that had a great experience.

Was supposed to stay here as i was support person to my brother in hospital HOWEVER I was suspicious on first view, reception was average looking but person pleasant. Went to my room upstairs it was dark and within minutes I heard loud swearing from the back...enough to make me feel unsafe. Very old and outdated, I felt unsafe and place felt very uncomfortable. Messaged my cousin and went to stay with her, Thank goodness. My brother has to go back n for a week and no way is he staying there we've found a much nicer one and closer and I'll personally pay the extra cost so that I know he is safe and comfortable.
