Gute zentrale Lage in der Nähe der Alster. In der Straße sind mehrere Hotels, wovon dieses hier das günstigste ist. Es ist alles einfach, aber gut und sauber. Das einzige, was etwas störend war, war der ungewöhnlich frühe Check-out um 10 Uhr.

It sucks. I was asked to check out at 11 o'clock. I was asked twice to check out. There is no elevator🛗! Climbing 5 floors is exhausting!

Das Steens Hotel in Hamburg würde ich mit einer 3,5 bewerten, geht leider hier nicht aber nur damit ihr Bescheid wisst. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, etwas altertümlich eingerichtet und in unserem Zimmer ging die Tür zum Bad nur sehr schwer auf, das muss natürlich nicht überall so sein, aber der Teppichboden war direkt unter der Badezimmertür, und da es keinen Abstand gab ging sie eben nur schwer auf. Die Lage ich sehr praktisch. In der Nähe des Bahnhofs, aber doch grade weit genug weg um nichts vom Bahnhofs treiben mitzubekommen. Zu Fuß war der Bahnhof in 5 Minuten erreichbar, perfekt um von dort mit Zug oder U Bahn weiterzufahren. Es gibt dort kein Frühstück, in der Nähe gibt es aber Cafés wo man frühstücken gehen kann. Der Zimmerservice war gut und hat unsere Dinge alle da hinterlassen wo wir es hingetan haben ( wir hatten das mit dem Zimmerservice voll vergessen). Insgesamt also in Ordnung auch vom Preis vor allem wenn man mit mehreren Leuten zusammen reist.

Close to downtown and convenient for walking. Check in was difficult and ultimately got assistance from another guest as the front desk advertised as being open until 2200hr but it was not.
