There is no air conditioning and the air in the room does not circulate. It was very hot in Hamburg during the few days I stayed. I was woken up by the heat a few nights. There is a small fan in the back. It is very old-fashioned and noisy, and the experience is not good.

I had work in Hamburg for several weeks and stayed with Hood House. The staff were very helpful, there are a variety of room sizes to accommodate single-person business travel, families, or large groups. If you have a long-term rental cleaning service does not occur each day. The actual cleaning days were inconsistent (e.g. was it every 3 days or every 4? No one ever seemed to know the schedule). I never got clean dishes despite asking staff in English and German meaning I had to regularly ask reception for clean ones in the room. The sheets were not changed one time in four weeks. I wondered limited staff could be the reason. Copenhagen Coffee Lab in the lobby is excellent but staff are rude when busy. Hood House is next to a fantistik Indian Restaurant, very close to the bus stop, and in the trendy Winterhude district. Rewe us two blocks away if you want to purchaser groceries for a long-term stay. The fitness center and onsite laundry facilities were so convenient. Good wi-fi too. I felt safe the whole time and would stay with Hood House again.

Soweit OK, bis auf den Frühstücksbereich. 4x Frühstück, davon 3x ohne Butter, auf Nachfrage kam immer die Antwort:" ist leider aus, könnte dir Honig geben". O-Saft und Besteck gab es nur auf Nachfrage...... Team wirkte nicht organisiert.
