The room smelled, and it was obvious that they had smoked in it (there were also cigarette butts outside the window). The staff, all online, were not helpful at all, and even stopped answering when I pointed this out. The bathroom is NOT inside, but in the other hallway.

The elevator is not working and some part of the bed Was very dirty.  the room was very filthy and the room services was not properly done. Money paid wasn’t worth it thank you

Dear Sir or Madam,
We were extremely dissatisfied with the room. On Friday, November 1st, we checked in at around 7 p.m. and inspected the room.
The room was not clean at all, so we decided to stay at another hotel that same day.
We put the room card in the mailbox and went to the Hotel Helgoland. I would be happy to receive compensation and would not give a negative review.
We did not use the rooms.

There is a water pump outside the window of room 107, which makes a lot of noise. 106 was empty, and the front desk of the hotel said that there were no rooms to change. There was so much noise in the room that I had to sleep in the corridor outside the room. The hotel manager called me up. I can only go out for a walk. I met a drunk black man who snatched my cell phone and ran away. I yelled, and passersby stopped him. I took my phone back. There are three very narrow bathrooms among the 7 rooms on this floor.

I chose this hotel because it is close to the train station. The overall feeling of the hotel is good, the sanitary conditions are good, the price is moderate, and it is very close to the Alster Lake, so you can walk there.
