Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe der Mundsburg in einer recht ruhigen Seitenstrasse. Ich vermute, das da zwei Wohnungen des sehr grossen Hamburger Grossbürgertums aus dem 20. Jahrhundert zusammengelegt wurden. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Die Garage die wir dazu gebucht hatten ist ein wenig eng - für unseren Wagen okay, aber fette SUVs sehe ich da nicht so. Die Zimmer waren gross, hoch und hell; die Betten gross und mit prima hart. Allein das Frühstück hätte besser sein können. Wir kamen um 09:00 und es ging bis 10:00 und es war schon deutlich abgegessen. Aber das was noch übrig war, reichte noch gut aus.

Das Angenehme an diesem Hotel ist, dass es hervorragend geführt ist, auf den Gast bezogen ist und gleichzeitig eine klare Linie einhält, was geht und was nicht geht. Das gibt den Gästen Nähe und sichere Distanz gleichzeitig.
