1. the coffee machine in the room is leaking 2. the room service didn't come even after putting up the sign for cleaning it is definitely an overhyped hotel ... really nothing fantastic to mention about the hotel except for ample car parking space

For a long weekend in Hamburg, we booked a cheap room here, mostly for the novelty of staying in the bunker (we'd read the poor reviews) and we were very pleasantly surprised by what we discovered. Our top-floor room felt spacious and well-equipped, with full height windows and a private balcony overlooking the city. The design concept is industrial, which fits the building's style. Pros Cleanliness: Excellent. The room was serviced every two days, and it was immaculate. The whole hotel seemed very clean. Temperature: The AC worked well and the room felt comfortable even during a heatwave. Noise: Very quiet. Despite being next to the entry door to our floor - and located right by the lift and the restaurant - we never heard any noise from outside the room. Bed: Incredibly comfortable, with a selection of pillows. Plug sockets: 10+ plug sockets, including USB-A, and many located near the bed. Shower: Spacious, clean, excellent pressure, lots of hot water. Lighting: The room had a variety of innovative lighting options to choose from, and we particularly liked the under-bed sensor lighting that gave a dim glow if one of us needed to get up in the night. Amenities: Our room had a mini-fridge, an Alexa display, smart TV, and a coffee pod machine. There is a closet on the third floor to access extra towels and toiletries, ironing facilities, and a variety of other things you might need during a stay. Location: We found that most points of interest were within a 30-minute walk, including plenty of food options. It's right next to Feldstrasse U-bahn station (about 40mins from the airport with a change at Barmbek), and a large indoor market including two big supermarkets and many cafes. We went to the market for fresh pastries instead of having breakfast in the hotel, and bought cool drinks at the supermarket to keep in the mini-fridge in our room. The bunker includes an exhibition on its history, and a rooftop garden that's open to hotel guests until midnight, which was lovely on a summer evening. Cons Storage: if I had to think of something to grumble about - and I am struggling to find anything - I'd say that the amount of space to put clothing could be more generous, as we had just four hangers. But as this was the smallest room they have, I'd imagine other rooms offer more.
