I went with my two dughters( 22+24) for one day safari,we toke the whole day (recommanded) safari and we had the best time with Thilak our guide!! We saw twice!! the lepord ,several elephants with there little once just few centimeters from us! crocodile all sort of birds and big male elephant and some more ,Thilak did an effort to find all this animals take care for breakfast lunch and lots of water and soft drinks and had good vibes 🙂 12 hours went fast,thank you so much

Simplemente maravilloso. Una muy buena opción si planeas hacer un safari en el Parque Nacional Yala. El hotel es muy familiar y está en una zona muy tranquila rodeado de arrozales. Las habitaciones cuentan con baño privado con agua caliente, aire acondicionado potente, televisión y está súper limpio y huele genial. Se respira paz en este sitio. Sanjeewa y su familia te ayudan a organizar un safari con recogida en la puerta del hotel y te pueden guiar dependiendo de tus preferencias. Para nosotros lo más importante era ver al leopardo y pudimos verlo, por lo que quedamos muy contentos. Además te puede ayudar a organizar transporte privado tanto para llegar al hotel como para el día que te vayas. Lo hace a un precio muy competente y se le puede pagar todo con tarjeta de crédito. Tanto para el almuerzo como para la cena tienes varias opciones que te pide elegir antes para ir a comprarlo todo al mercado, incluso si quieres pescado fresco. The guesthouse is located just outside the village, at a quiet location between the ricefields. They are very friendly and helpful and have everything you need, comfortable and clean rooms, great Sri Lankan food, good wifi. They arrange very good safari’s and if you are solo traveller like me, if you want, they will get you a jeep to share with other travellers. It’s about 10-15 minutes walking to the nearest restaurant but if you do the full day safari I recommend to use their dinner, delicious Sri Lankan food including fruit and a dessert. Recommended this place!

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte e abbiamo fatto con loro il safari di mezza giornata al mattino. Il prezzo é nella media (65euro a persona). Esperienza bellissima. Abbiamo visto la maggior parte degli animali (anche l'orso, cosa molto rara). Ci é stato dato un cestino con cibo e bevande in abbondanza e alla fine del safari ci é stato offerto un buonissimo pranzo. Super consigliato!

Excellent place with lovely nature. Room are spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was top of the notch. If you come to Sri Lanka visit and stay this place. This place is not far from Yala national safari park. Ngl, I have to write this part on my dairy like this… "I had an incredible solo adventure at Moonlight Guest House and embarked on a thrilling safari tour in Yala National Park, Sri Lanka. Being a wildlife photographer, I was delighted to capture the mesmerizing beauty and diversity of Sri Lanka's wild animals. Moonlight Guest House truly exceeded my expectations with their exceptional service, making my safari experience truly unforgettable.” I think this is the best and cheapest place to organize a safari tour in yala national park…!

Staying at Moonlight Guest House was awesome! The rooms were clean and beautiful. A very quiet environment and beautiful garden. Great hospitality . Staff was very kind . They provided everything we needed. It is very close to Tissamaharama town. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and refreshing . Nice place. The Yala safari was the best—we saw a leopard, elephants, and enjoyed a delicious lunch. 9/10 for sure...

My husband and I stayed at Moon Light Guest House as part of our holiday around Sri Lanka. We arrived and were immediately welcomed by Sanjeewa, the owner, who met us with papaya mocktails - a lovely touch. We did visits to Yala National Park and Tissa Lake from this property, all arranged by Sanjeewa. He could not have been more helpful or attentive. Cannot recommend highly enough!

We stayed at Moon Light Guest House to visit Yala National Park. The owner fixed everything for us they were so amazing. They booked a safari guide (who was fantastic too) , prepped us a breakfast for the safari (we had to leave at 5am for a full day tour) our guide provided lunch and our awesome hosts made an amazing Sri Lankan dinner for us when we got back, with local tea and coffee. Thanks for taking such good care of us. : )
