Family-friendly Hotels in Ha Long

We had an amazing time there, service was excellent, staff were very polite and accommodating. We extended our stay because of our wonderful experience.

A beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views of Halong Bay. We were in a twin room on the 12th floor which was quiet at night, with an incredible view of the bay and overlooking the pool - possibly the best view I’ve ever had. The service was great and the staff all very polite, friendly and helpful. There is good variety in the restaurants and prices are reasonable for what you receive. We also took full advantage of the grand spa, which offers a full range of treatments at a reasonable price. The spa staff could possibly have been a touch more professional (there was giggling which wasn’t totally appreciated) and the reflexology was much more of a leg massage, however we still enjoyed our treatments and for the price versus time of treatments we were happy. Location of the hotel is beautiful and away from the busy hustle and bustle of the city, though this means taxis are necessary in order to get anywhere. Hotel staff are very happy to help you organise these taxis though which made things very accessible. Overall a lovely stay and I would certainly stay here again.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The rooftop offered a beautiful view, and the restaurant had a good selection of meals. The overall vibe of the hotel was lovely.However, I must express my disappointment regarding the fire alarm that went off multiple times during the early morning hours without any explanation. This was quite disruptive to my stay.Despite this issue, I highly recommend this hotel. On a separate note, I visited the spa next to the hotel, 'Nature,' and while the services were excellent, I was shocked to learn about their labor practices. It's disheartening to know that the staff relies solely on tips without receiving a proper salary. Offering expensive services without fair compensation for the employees is unacceptable and tarnishes the experience of an otherwise enjoyable stay at the hotel. Many people go there, but they are supporting this labor exploitation.

The hotel's service attitude is very good! It's called a 4-star hotel, but the breakfast is average, and the room is average! I didn't have too many requirements for just one night. There is a barbecue restaurant at the door, but there is a hair salon nearby that washes very well! It's on the street behind the hotel!

The food is average, but the location and view are great. It's the best! The staff doesn't speak English well, but they are very friendly. I'd definitely go back next time I have a chance.

The service is very good, the environment is great and clean. February may be the off-season in Halong Bay. When we arrived near the hotel, the entire area felt desolate and a bit like an empty city. A sharp contrast to Hanoi. People who like liveliness will be a little depressed, and it is rare to see people around. A day trip to Halong Bay is enough for a group tour. It is not recommended to stay for two nights.

It's so much fun. The facilities are clean and the food is delicious. Also, both the outdoor and indoor pools are clean and the water isn't cold, so I like it.

It's a luxurious villa with a 7 star feel, but sadly with 3 star services. The place is beautiful and definitely worth staying, especially if you've a big family. However, be sure to bring everything you might need for your stay. Firstly, there is a big language barrier, then asking for small things such as extra water bottle or a mosquito repellent needs a lot of effort. If you know the language or just need a really beautiful place to stay in Halong, this is your place!

Despite the major hiccup (Signature Cruise was overbooked and they bumped us off to Athena Cruise)... Met new friends on board which was a blessing in disguise, adding to the whole experience. Happy to have ended our honeymoon on the cruise. Activities were just nice, though we hoped there would be a karaoke lounge and a room with a bathtub view of Halong Bay to top it all off.

The hotel is new and clean, stuff is very friendly and professional. Everything was very good during our stay. The only unpleasant thing is construction right under windows of sea view rooms. It started at 7 am and was really loud. However, it is definitely not hotel’s fault, and moreover, the stuff provided us another room twice: one on the higher floor and another on the other side of the building, where the sound of construction is almost zero. We really appreciate that! As for location - you will need to use taxi to get to city centre, restaurant and cruise ports, but that’s ok, if you have Grab/Bolt. The prices between VND 45,000 and VND 140,000 depending on distance. N.B. We’ve visited Halong at very low season, so c. 60% of bars/ restaurants were closed and the rest were empty (except for couple of European).
