Ha Long Hotels with Pools

The hotel service is outstanding. The front desk helped us to buy diapers for our baby, and it is within walking distance from the international cruise port. The breakfast is amazing, and our room was comfortable. While there could be some improvements, the overall quality is good.

Excellent hotel, real 5 stars, service 10, clean 10, view 10, everything is good and high quality, we came back again, really recommended, an experience that is hard to forget.

We went off season - February and it seemed like we were the only ones in the hotel. The staff were few and young so service was ok but considering so few people we had to hunt down staff for food and drinks.

Although classified as a 4-star luxury hotel, no concierge service was available and we had to transfer our luggage ourselves to the room. Only two front desk staff members were there, who did everything. There was no travel agent to provide travel or cruise information or services in Halong Bay. The breakfast spread was limited to selecting from the 2-3 options a day in advance, which was not a 4-star menu. The room provided was a two-room suite with an attached kitchenette, which had a cooking stove, but no cooking utensils or even plates for serving. Even a basic necessity like a microwave to heat food was lacking. There was no hot water facility for washing utensils. The air conditioning was not centralized, but independent units in each room. The bedroom size was very small, with barely any space to open the wardrobes. Overall the two-day stay experience was not as comfortable and luxurious as one would expect in a 4-star accommodation. There was no rooftop swimming pool or bar and in fact, we were told that there is nothing much to explore on the higher floors. Our accommodation was provided on the 14th floor.

A beautiful hotel with absolutely stunning views of Halong Bay. We were in a twin room on the 12th floor which was quiet at night, with an incredible view of the bay and overlooking the pool - possibly the best view I’ve ever had. The service was great and the staff all very polite, friendly and helpful. There is good variety in the restaurants and prices are reasonable for what you receive. We also took full advantage of the grand spa, which offers a full range of treatments at a reasonable price. The spa staff could possibly have been a touch more professional (there was giggling which wasn’t totally appreciated) and the reflexology was much more of a leg massage, however we still enjoyed our treatments and for the price versus time of treatments we were happy. Location of the hotel is beautiful and away from the busy hustle and bustle of the city, though this means taxis are necessary in order to get anywhere. Hotel staff are very happy to help you organise these taxis though which made things very accessible. Overall a lovely stay and I would certainly stay here again.

I had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The breakfast was delightful, and the staff was incredibly helpful. The rooftop offered a beautiful view, and the restaurant had a good selection of meals. The overall vibe of the hotel was lovely.However, I must express my disappointment regarding the fire alarm that went off multiple times during the early morning hours without any explanation. This was quite disruptive to my stay.Despite this issue, I highly recommend this hotel. On a separate note, I visited the spa next to the hotel, 'Nature,' and while the services were excellent, I was shocked to learn about their labor practices. It's disheartening to know that the staff relies solely on tips without receiving a proper salary. Offering expensive services without fair compensation for the employees is unacceptable and tarnishes the experience of an otherwise enjoyable stay at the hotel. Many people go there, but they are supporting this labor exploitation.

A luxury hotel at a great bargain price. View is terrific. Location is also fine. The room is quiet during the night. The concierge speaks English well.

The location is a relatively peaceful area in the old district of Halong Bay. It also has the advantage of being quiet and not bothering. Downstairs Vietnamese noodle shop, intestine noodles, shrimp cakes and glutinous rice restaurant are all authentic Vietnamese daily. The four-star hotel of the National Tourism Administration of Vietnam is very good in terms of hygiene and equipment. The Chinese and English skills at the front desk were still weak.

I have stayed in this hotel before in Melbourne and the Grand Canyon in the United States. This is my third time staying in Halong Bay! The Bay View Suite provides a very comfortable stay for our family of three. The small balcony faces the blue sea. With a cup of coffee, we can watch the sunrise, sunset, and boats. It is so comfortable! The hotel breakfast is very rich. We enjoy the slow breakfast time every morning!

The hotel's service attitude is very good! It's called a 4-star hotel, but the breakfast is average, and the room is average! I didn't have too many requirements for just one night. There is a barbecue restaurant at the door, but there is a hair salon nearby that washes very well! It's on the street behind the hotel!
