The staff were all incredibly friendly, always greeting us, and even proactively offered to take our empty drink bottles to dispose of for us. Our room was spotlessly clean. During the day, it served as a comfortable living space with a table, and then promptly at 6 PM each evening, the staff would come to lay out the futons. The three of us slept comfortably on the futons laid out on the floor. Haha, it was a fantastic experience! The hotel's location is superb, right opposite Hakone-Yumoto Station and just across the bridge, making it incredibly convenient and a wonderful place to stay. If you turn left from the hotel, you'll find a row of shops and restaurants to explore, though do note they tend to close quite early. The hotel's food was also quite good. Breakfast is a buffet, but the selection remains largely the same each day, so it might get a bit repetitive if you're staying for an extended period. 😄 We also enjoyed some delicious sushi at the hotel one evening.

Absolutely love this place! The staff are very friendly, and the onsen is clean and well-maintained. There are 3 outdoor pools and 2 indoor pools, along with a steam room and sauna, which make for a relaxing experience. The facility is open for both day trips and overnight stays, but staying overnight is much better for a more chill and leisurely time. There’s a massage chair available, but it requires payment. Breakfast is also delicious and definitely worth it. The only downside is the location—it’s not very convenient and requires some walking. If you’re traveling light, it’s manageable. They do have a payable shuttle bus, but the timing isn’t great. Walking can be pleasant if the weather’s nice, or you can opt for a taxi. Overall, I’ll definitely book this place again for the relaxing atmosphere!

The location is good, just a few minutes away from Hakone-Yumoto Station. There are many shops along the way, which is very convenient. The service attitude of the staff is very good. We had breakfast and dinner with a view of the garden, which was great👍🏻

I was quite worried before my visit, having seen many mixed reviews online. However, I decided to stick with this hotel, primarily due to its excellent location very close to Yumoto Station, which makes getting around incredibly convenient. Upon arrival, I personally found it to be excellent. First off, the room was very spacious. Although the amenities were a bit dated (still using traditional button switches instead of a modern key card system), the vintage charm of this traditional Japanese-style room was actually quite nice. Secondly, staying in a room with a private outdoor onsen at the foot of the mountain during summer, I was delighted to find no mosquitoes. I only spotted one unidentified bug on the day I checked in, and never saw another insect afterwards. What's more, the onsen water was continuously circulating, so the surface was always clean with no debris. Enjoying a hot spring bath at night while stargazing was truly blissful. The breakfast and dinner portions initially looked small, served as individual dishes, but by the end, I was completely stuffed and couldn't finish it all! (𖦹.𖦹) Finally, the overall service was impeccable, from the check-in process at the front desk to the staff attending to us during breakfast and dinner.

When looking for a hotel in Hakone, I valued the hot springs. After all, it was my first time to bring my children here, and I hoped to have a brand new experience. I looked at many hotels on Ctrip, and finally I gritted my teeth and decided on Xianjing, which had an open-air hot spring and tatami-style beds. 1. Address: It takes a long way to get off the tram, but there are many small spots along the way. The scenery on the uphill road is also good, so we walked and stopped and walked quickly. 2. Hotel reception: When checking in, there was a Japanese gentleman who could speak simple English. Because we arrived early, we checked in and stored our luggage first, and asked us about the time to lay the tatami and the breakfast time for the next day. I wanted to book dinner, but was told that it was too late that day. When we returned to the hotel, a Chinese lady greeted us. She was very enthusiastic. Not only did she bring a small toiletries set for my brother, but she also went to the room to introduce the location of the open-air hot spring, the usage time, and the operation of the electrical appliances in the room in detail. 3. Room: The tatami bed is a typical traditional Japanese style. There is a heated table inside, which is also the kind commonly used by Japanese families. It is very comfortable to put your legs inside. Sleeping on the tatami is quite warm and not hard at all. The bathroom and toilet are separated into wet and dry areas, and are clean. The only drawback is that the air conditioning is not powerful. Even if it is turned on to 30 degrees, the room is still cold. I saw another comment before, which also said that it is cold in winter. 4. Soup: There are two types of open-air soup and indoor soup. There is only one open-air soup, which requires men and women to have separate time periods; the indoor soup is for men and women alone and can be used at any time. Both soups are **, typical Japanese style. The open-air soup is not big, the temperature is suitable, and it is very quiet. I originally wanted to go again the next morning, but found that the morning time period is for men, which is not a good combination (because the last time period the night before was also for men). I didn't try the indoor soup, which is a little regretful. 5 Breakfast: Breakfast is in the small restaurant at the door. It is set, one serving per person, with a combination of meat and vegetables. It is quite standard. The children are not used to the cold egg, but everything else is OK 6. Finally, let's talk about the price: 2600+ a night, which is really not cheap. It should be a holiday + I booked the hotel late, so I will feel the pain first, and I must book early in the future.

We got to the hotel in the beautiful location just before 3pm and we got given a little tour of the place and then got shown to our room. The staff are very friendly and do their best to speak English. A lovely lady was in charge of our hospitality throughout our stay and she first showed us that there is a public hot spring and a private hot spring and asked us if we would like to book a time to use the private hot spring, we booked a time as we checked in but then we didn’t use it as we were happy with our private hot spring in the room. We also booked a time for dinner and they arrived at that time Promptly with A LOT of food. We also got a choice for a staple food and we chose some steak which was high quality and delicious, as well as the lobster (on the menu it said grilled prawn but a lobster is what came and it was delicious). We ordered a few beers and a bottle of wine with room service and it always came quickly and was nice and cold. The private hot spring is absolutely boiling but it’s a good experience and there’s ice water provided which helps. Breakfast came at 8.30am and it was also huge! It didn’t come with coffee but I ordered some and that was easy enough. The lady who served our food explained every dish and how to eat it and she was always extremely friendly and attentive. Would recommend!

It was my first time staying at the ryokan, and I was very satisfied as I expected. The staff were friendly and the meal was very good. There is also an outdoor open-air bath, but it was a little burdensome because it was called a male and female mixed bath ... ㅎㅎ And I can use a private open-air bath for 30 minutes, but I was sorry that I couldn't use it by mistake. The facilities were not bad for personally old. However, it was difficult because the location had to climb a lot of hills, and it was a pity that I had to struggle to get to a convenience store. On the day of check-out, I was able to take the shuttle bus to Hakone Yumoto Station, which was very convenient. Overall, I think it was a satisfying experience.

Вкусно, аутентично, атмосферно. Прекрасный онсен, как в помещении, так и на открытой терассе. Можно заказать при заезде приватный онсен бесплатно, вам предложат свободное время на выбор. Вечернее время лучше бронировать очень заранее. Поблизости два водопада и синтоистский храм. Добираться до основных локаций Хаконе со станции Хаконе Юмото очень удобно.
