The transportation is also convenient, there is a bus stop at the door, and you can ask the hotel to call a taxi. There are many local Japanese food stores and 7-11 within a 15-minute walk. Beautiful resort in the middle of a remote forest area, perfect for relaxation and connecting with nature. The rooms are cosy and clean. The breakfast was absolutely amazing, with chefs preparing freshly made dishes right in front of you! We did find a bug in the room but the hotel is in the middle of the nature so we didn't mind really. The onsen was ok but it was not mixed. Note that if you are not arriving by car and you have luggage, the hotel is uphill so better contact the staff in advance so they can arrange a pick up for you.

This is the hotel I will go to again when I come to Hakone. It's so beautiful and the service is great. We arrived very late and the staff recommended restaurants to us and drove us there. It was great!
