Highly recommended, traditional Japanese style hotel with silk soup. The hotel offers two time slots for dinner at 6pm and 6:30pm every night, and two time slots for breakfast at 8:00am and 8:30am. If you see the standard of their meals, you will understand why they require exact meal times, because their meals are not business hotel buffets, but Kaiseki cuisine level. The staff of this hotel speaks average English, but they are "slow in speech but quick in action". In addition, it is best to check in at 3-5pm in the afternoon, but you should be able to check in at 8 or 9pm, but dinner will be gone.

The hotel is located near the station, small and beautiful. Hot springs and dinner and breakfast were very nice. The Japanese-style room was damp and cold, but when I tried to turn on the air conditioner for heating, I could smell mold, maybe it hadn't been cleaned.

Approximately 15 minutes from Hakone Yumoto Station It is a small hotel, suitable for a quiet rest. Kaiseki cuisine was delicious and the staff were friendly. After using the open-air hot spring for 40 minutes without disturbing others, we had dinner. The changing area at the open-air hot spring is old and needs improvement. I had a good rest

Japanese style, just so-so, may not be suitable for Chinese people Hygiene: clean Environment: OK Service: The private soup is good, recommended. Breakfast and dinner were not satisfactory. There was no fruit or ice cream at this price, and there was no milk or eggs for breakfast. This hotel is still very stingy.

Overall it was good. After reading other people's comments, I thought the comments about this inn were mixed, so I chose it because I wanted to take a risk. When I actually checked in, I felt that it was a "family-run inn". There was a limited bath time and set meal times, but we are used to traveling (lol), so we thought dinner would be around 6pm and breakfast around 8am, and if the private bath was not available, we could go at a different time (it was true that the private bath was filled with people who arrived early), so we enjoyed the private open-air bath in the morning, when there was no one else around. We chose a slightly higher-grade plan for the food, so we were satisfied. Maybe because it was a weekday, the price didn't seem high. My friend and I were impressed that it was really a family-run inn, as the check-in, dinner preparations, futon laying, breakfast, and final farewell were all done by people who seemed to be family members. I wonder if these people are sleeping? My friend said something unnecessary. I was skeptical about this stay because the previous reviews were both good and bad, but as someone who knows what a family-run hotel is like, I just thought, "That kind of customer service is normal." We, the travel-loving men's army, have no intention of defending the inn, and we are not promoters of this inn, but we feel that the people who have posted bad reviews in the past are Asians from overseas. It seems that they really didn't like it because they were listing Japanese words they know, such as "if you pay money, you can be flexible even outside of business hours," and copying and pasting the same content on reviews on multiple sites. Well, it's the nature of the country. They are mistaken people who think that they can do anything if they pay money. There are no facilities that always get a perfect score of 5 points at inns and hotels (I'm a Kyoto native who stays at hotels more than 100 days a year). I don't judge how far I should go based on price alone, but on the quality of the facilities and the behavior of the staff. I've been in the same situation before. I think it's inevitable that the person in charge may or may not suit your personality. Even first-class hotels have that kind of thing. We stay at small inns knowing all of that, so we're the type who won't complain even if things don't go as we hoped. We always think that the one who makes the reservation wins! To be honest, there were a lot of restrictions this time, but it can't be helped because it's a "family-run" inn, and in return we received wonderful "hospitality" that other large inns don't have. In fact, the inbound tourists before us were arguing about whether they could use their cards or not, but maybe they didn't read the notes section on the website when they made the reservation? It seems strange to us. It's been a long story, but I would give it a 4.5 rating for a "family-run hot spring inn" that gives the feeling of "feel free to bathe when it's free!" If I had to say one thing, the building is old (lol) but that can't be helped. Local cuisine, generously flowing hot spring water from Hakone Yumoto Onsen, cafe time in the lobby while listening to the sound of the flowing river. We felt that this was an inn for Japanese people who can follow the rules, or for foreigners who understand Japanese inns, and in fact we have already made a reservation for October as well★ Next time we will definitely check in at 2:45pm so that we can enjoy our desired private open-air bath!!
