K's House Hostels - Hakone Yumoto Onsen Reviews

This is the first time I've stayed in a hostel with an onsen! The onsen while small, does the job, and the outdoor onsen was really peaceful at night. I booked a queen bed for 2 people and it was spacious enough for me to hold all my belongings. Hostel staff were really friendly as well. One thing to note though is if you're planning to stay here, getting here from Hatsune-Yumato station requires a very steep climb up the road and a trek through the forest, so do NOT attempt to walk here yourself! Take the K-line bus instead, which drops you 100m away from the hostel.

It’s cheap and affordable for the area. However, it’s located along a steep slope therefore quite hard to access. Will be ok if you know how to take public bus/taxi. We booked an en-suite room but was given a private room with shared bathroom/shower as Trip.com messed up the booking. Be careful when you book. Confirm with hotel directly to confirm.

Such a good experience in Hakone, especially Onsen at the hotel.

That was a nice hotel with awesome onsen outdoors. It’s located in guesthouse village 30 minutes to all main sightseeings

Everything was perfect. The staff is super nice, considerate and helpful. The cabins are super comfortable and the onsen opened until 2am was awesome!

K's House provides fantastic Japanese style room and the reception can speak very good English. Although the room does not have bathroom by itself, it is still very convenient to use the common one. All the common facilities including the bathrooms, washrooms, kitchen, common room are maintained in very good condition and clean. Location is also very convenient. It is just a few bus stop from Hakone station.

I would not expect hostel offer out door hot spring and good vibes in common area

In addition to the location, I recommend taking the bus for luggage. It is really tiring to push luggage all the way up the mountain! Everything else is good, including room layout, public functional facilities, almost perfect.

The hotel suddenly increased its price, so I booked here temporarily. It's very clean and the service is good. The only drawback is that it's too far from the station. It takes a long time to walk anywhere.

Very good, suitable for young people to exercise independence.

Anyway, I was able to stay in Hakone at a good cost performance. The staff was kind, and although it was a little small, the open-air bath was nice.
