Musashino Bekkan Hakone

A lovely ryokan with great service. The hotel offers a free shuttle to and from the train platforms in Hakone - you need to email them in advance. The staff speaks English. The traditional dinner and breakfast are delicious. The onsen are nice

1) The hotel is located halfway up the mountain and is relatively independent. This is the only hotel around. The nearest convenience store is about 1 km away. The hotel will lock its doors at 10 pm. 2) You have to take off your shoes when you enter the lobby. There are tatami mats inside and you have to walk barefoot. Therefore, I advise everyone to wear socks when entering the hotel. There is also a massage chair in the room for massage. There is a separate bathroom with hot springs introduced into the room. You can take a bath in the room. However, there is no air conditioning in the bathroom, so it may feel a bit cold. 3) There is a lady who speaks Chinese at the front desk of the hotel, which is a pleasant surprise. 4) The hotel has 3 private baths, 2 of which need to be booked in the afternoon and evening. Go to the front desk at the scheduled time to get the key and return the key after use. The other one can be used as long as no one is there. 5) Dinner starts at 6 o'clock and ends at 8 o'clock. It is used in the room. Therefore, the latest check-in time is actually 6 o'clock, otherwise you will miss dinner. There are two time periods for breakfast at 8 o'clock and 8:30. They will knock on the door half an hour in advance to make the bed and prepare breakfast. 6) The main course for dinner is abalone, which tastes really good. Except for the location of the hotel, which is a bit remote and inconvenient to enter and exit, everything else is perfect. Whether it is hot springs/environment/meals/services/facilities, it is worth recommending

The two meals were good, very ceremonial. The private bath I booked was very refreshing! The hotel service is also very good! The hotel is very well decorated. The only thing is that the bathroom is cold without heating, but it is very warm after taking a bath. The location is a 10-minute walk from Xiaoyongquan Railway Station. The main thing is that the sidewalk is narrow and difficult to walk, but you can pick up and drop off. In short, it is very cost-effective. If you want to experience a traditional Japanese hotel, you can go there.
