The hot spring is only public and is charged on top of the room rate.
The mountain view is OK, but unfortunately we didn't encounter good weather.
It's a long steep slope from Gora Station. Not recommended if you have a lot of luggage.

Food generally good. Lobster sashimi and sashimi platter were delicious. Loin steak was tough and had sinew. I wish it was fillet. Alcohol is expensive. Beer by the glass is 950 yen. Large public bath, free-flowing from the source, makes skin smooth and nice. Hinoki open-air bath attached to room is not from the source. Entrance is high. Wish it had a platform. Air conditioner and humidifier are quiet and good. Bed sinks easily. Handrails in the bath for elderly people. I have bad legs. Our private in-room onsen was equally delightful, though it required some time to fill. Located up a steep 45 degree hill, so take the hotel up on their offer when they say they will pick you up! 400m doesn’t seem far until you drag luggage up that hill in 32 degrees Celsius heat and humidity!
Booked as a break from the city, and to get views of Mount Fuji from the cable car ride accessible from the nearby station.
Loved our stay! Room food and staff all excellent.
We should have booked longer to explore the area in more detail and loved relaxing in the open air bath.

昨日の夜、座椅子に関して意見を書いたら、今朝9時前にチェックアウトの際、意見を書いてもらってありがとうございました、と言われて、早い返答で驚きました。
朝食は温かいものはちゃんと温められて出てきました。部屋数が少ない施設は私にとって、のんびりと出来る施設なので、別邸今宵さんならまた再度泊まりに行きたいです。

The staff were friendly, we were given a welcome drink on arrival and the hotel is very nice. Our room was very spacious, very clean and decent bathroom and the bath on the balcony was a special touch. The only slight downside is that it is a very long steep walk from the station, so keep that in mind if you have a lot of luggage or are not mobile. I would recommend this hotel.
