The worst hot spring hotel I've ever stayed in Japan!!! And it's the most expensive. It should be the worst hotel recommended by Tirp. What kind of collusion is there? The equipment and facilities are old and aging, the room is filled with a strong pungent musty smell, which makes people cough violently and difficult to fall asleep. No one answered the hotel contact number marked on Tirp! It is also very inconvenient to get to the hotel. There is no courtesy at all when picking up and dropping off guests, and the attitude is completely indifferent. It is a world of difference from the hotel I stayed in the day before. Except for the food that is still online, I will give this hotel the title of the worst. In short, the hotel that Tirp strongly recommends on the App is extremely unfriendly and bad behavior.

2022年6月に宿泊しました。落ち着いた雰囲気で、ゆっくり過ごせました。特に嬉しかったサービスは食事の時です。特に何も伝えなかったのですが、私が左でお箸を使っていたことに気づいたようで、途中から 左で食べやすいように配膳が変わっていました。本当に、感動いたしました。それと、部屋で聴くためにCDの貸し出しもありました。おかげでテレビをつけることもなく、素敵な音楽を聴きながらリラックスできました。

My wife and I just left the Gora Hanagoui after a beautiful 2 night stay. We absolutely loved staying in Gora and couldn’t have imagined a better experience. The service and attention to detail are out of this world. The room is beautiful and the bath on the patio is divine. They’ve really thought about everything. Everyone who works at the hotel is so incredibly nice and helpful. Five star service from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave. A very special shout out to our server who took care of us the whole time (breakfast and dinner service both nights). Her name is Saito and she was so lovely and attentive. The food was incredible. So delicious and so thoughtful. Every dish that came felt like a special gift. Hats off to the chef!

Impeccable service and childfriendly
Hotel and service was amazing, insanely child friendly. Traveled with 18months and while this a luxury hotel and made us feel like royalty they also hade everything planned for our kid from baby yukata to baby bed at the kaiseki dinner.

My husband and I had the most relaxing night at Gora Hanaougi. The staff were the most attentive and kind. The kaiseki dinner and the Japanese style breakfast were both outstanding, full of local ingredients. The onsen was obviously the highlight of the stay. The private onsen in our room was quite the experience. The room had open air onsen, so we could get fresh air, but it’s covered so even during the torrential rainfall, we could enjoy the hot bath while listening to the rain. All in all, the only regret that we have is that we could only stay for one night, and not more, as we were on a tight schedule in Japan. Thank you to all the staff at Gora Hanaougi for making our stay an exceptional experience.
