A lovely, small, family-run hotel with a cozy atmosphere. The family who manages it is very friendly, lovable, and personable. Unfortunately, the building is a bit run down due to its age. However, if that doesn't bother you, I highly recommend it!

It was a relatively simple B&B on the mountain. Walking up the mountain was very tiring and desolate, so I thought I was going the wrong way. There is no free shampoo and shower gel in the room. You need to ask the host for a free packet, which is inconvenient to use. There is no free toothbrush, and even bath towels and yukata require additional fees. The house was so old that the bathroom would accumulate water, there was no headboard, and the TV didn't work. I stayed here for one night at a not cheap price, and I wasn't very satisfied. When I went out, I slipped because the road outside the house was not repaired.

Great place to stay in Hakone!
Just few walks away from the bus stop and town proper of Motohakone, where tourist attractions are located. Feels like home when you stay in this accommodation. I love the hot spring w/ overview of the suburb. Overall, great service, cleanliness, and comfy stay.

It's ok for just staying one night. Unfortunately towels and shampoo/ shower gel are not included in the hotel rate. You can reach Lake Ashi within 15 minutes walking, which was great!
