This is supposed to be a luxury hotel and has a price tag to match. Both nights we stayed there events were being held on the lawn outside our room. The events had loud music and could be heard from across the whole hotel. Hilariously the meditation centre was one of the worst places as the pounding bass was only interrupted by the MC shouting. We had to call the front desk to try to get some peace but to no avail. Eventually we were offered a free late check out as compensation but it didn’t make up for the disruption.

The place felt abandoned, low key creepy. The staff were wildly unhelpful, to the point it was funny, had to wait for ages to check in because the chickadee was watching something on her phone, we went to dinner and the staff once again just sat at a table inside and played on their phones, we were the only guests at the restaurant and had to walk inside to get their attention whenever we wanted something or was ready to order. The pool is awesome, had the entire thing to ourselves, buuuuut the vibe was ruined because the security guard just layed on the day bed STARING at us the ENTIRE time. Rooms are outdated and on the small side Bed was GIANT, but was also made out of bricks View from balcony was the best part.

It is a lovely property, great beach access and the pool has a waterslide which is a big bonus! The rooms are alright. They definitely need an update because the doors were malfunctioning a bit. However, the staff barely speak English, and are not very helpful. We tried to get them to book us on a ferry out of Catba and it did not go well. You're better off booking with a local tourist agency! They also seemed shocked when I asked for a bill for things consumed from the mini bar.
