Roompot Nautisch Centrum Scheveningen

Spent a week in the Roompot complex. Of course, the weather also determines the assessment. We hit it. Beautiful weather! From the spacious apartment you have a view of the harbor and the North Sea. Within walking distance of restaurants, close to the Boulevard, around the corner the Zuiderstrand and the dunes. What else do you want? Oh yes, the bus stops around the corner and the tram stops are also within walking distance. Just leave your car in the existing parking basement, you don't need it. That parking space belongs to the apartment. The apartment is spacious and offers enough sleeping places. Everything is there for a successful stay.

Booked midweek. On arrival it turned out that the apartment on the other floor was being demolished, so extreme noise pollution. Called reception. According to reception, only 1 other apartment is available for us. Big nonsense turned out to be later because half the building was empty. So smaller apartment with no sea view, which we came for forced to take. A lot of fuss, moving everything again and the afternoon of vacation. First of all, no gesture at all for compensation for inconvenience and missed views. After letter writing very meager offer of discount on our next stay. We don't feel like coming back when hospitality and service are so bad. So an unpleasant experience. I see the unctuous words about service and hospitality in response to negative reviews: don't believe it because it really isn't!
