The building is old, but considering the price, it was a good choice for a one-day stay as it had breakfast and a balcony. In the winter, even with the radiator on, it was still a bit cold, so I stayed under the blanket.

Door privé omstandigheden 7 maanden in dit fijne, knusse, gezellige hotel verbleven. De eigenaren, een hele lieve familie, zorgen ervoor dat je een fijn verblijf hebt, en je er welkom voelt. De housekeeping is elke dag bezig met de schoonmaak werkzaamheden om de kamers er elke keer weer mooi en gezellig uit te laten zien. Heb mij er zeer welkom en altijd veilig gevoeld hier, en het is echt de moeite waard om hier te verblijven. Alles in de buurt, op loopafstand of met het openbaar vervoer. Veel plezier in Hotel Het Witte Huys!! Had mij geen betere plek kunnen wensen!!

Katastrophe, sehr ekelhaft und dreckig, Toilette kann man nicht benutzen, ( so nah an der wand ! Und duschen auch nicht ! Haben am Strand gemacht! Hotel ist zu laut an Hauptstraße , um 6 kann man nicht mehr schlafen und sehr warm im Zimmer ( ohne Klima) nur ein Fenster auf Kippe!Innenausstattung seit 60 Jahren wurde nie renoviert/repariert , Waschbecken kaputt,TV funktioniert nicht!wifi kaum nutzbar.Handtuch nur für Boden so alt und stinkig.280€ bezahlt! Für Dreckloch . Nie wieder.

Mooi oud pand, maar netjes, schoon, alles wat je nodig hebt, koelkast,balkon, goed ontbijt, erg vriendelijk ontvangen, lekker bij de kust,,t is geen Hilton, maar m’n man en ik hebben t erg naar ons zin gehad! Die mensen krijgen vervelende revieuws,omdat t simpel en oud is, maar ze zijn hard bezig om alles op te knappen, wij zijn tevreden, anders moet je naar Kurhaus gaan,,, respect voor de eigenaar, als je alles nodig hebt in je kamer,ben je toch tevreden?

I was there with a friend over the weekend... The room was in the attic. There was no closet! The toilet was so small that we two slim, short women could barely fit in!!! We sat with our knees on the door! We are 160cm tall!!! The breakfast was a disaster!!! We then went out for breakfast for much cheaper!!! The hotel is absolutely not recommended!!!

Hotel very dated, carpet upstairs very dirty and worn, everything old and musty. Rooms in the basement share a terrace where someone who probably lives there is always smoking. The room in the basement had wet carpet and you couldn't fit your legs in the toilet. Sockets near the bath/shower, no air conditioning, toilets in the general area are all defective. We are used to many hotels, but this was by far the worst hotel ever. It absolutely should not have 3 stars.
