I called around 10:30 PM and was told I could come as long as I arrived before midnight. What I didn’t realize (and what wasn’t made clear on the phone) was that I needed to book online in advance. To be fair, I probably could’ve asked or reserved right away, so I take some responsibility there. When I arrived, I was told for the first time that after 10 PM they don’t accept new guests unless they have an online reservation beforehand. This was confusing since there were still available beds. Although I explained the situation politely the response felt distant and unaccommodating. I understand rules are rules and miscommunications between two parties can always occur, but a warmer tone and clearer instructions over the phone would have made all the difference. I wish the staff all the best and hope future guests have a smoother experience.

I recommend this hostel. It’s very nice. The staff has been very accommodating. The rooms are nice. This one also has a restaurant and a bar. Located in the facility. The location is in a good area. You can walk down to all of your museums, restaurants, shopping, etc. It is all within walking distance.

Student hostel
The hotel provides the bare minimum: a bed for the night. Just be prepared to make your own bed, bring your own towel and sleep in a bunk bed.

Stayokay Hostel Den Haag (The Hague) Heeeel / Dé onvriendelijkste vrouw achter de balie genaamd Nadine !!!!!!!! Zij hoort écht niet aan de balie testaan of te werken in dit vak ,wat een geboren heks !!!!!! Geen begrip voor de situatie en niet mee te communiceren ,advies ontsla die mevrouw direct ,totaal niet klantvriendelijk wat je wel zou verwachten in de hotel branche . Verder goede kamer ,maar de lockers zijn veeel en veel te klein op je kamer ,locker zijn misschien 30x30x30 cm Nadine is het grootste probleem in dit hotel ,haar wil is wet en heel kortaf in het gesprek Zij doet alsof ze de baas is en wens geen tegenspraak Alleen al voor Nadine / receptoniste zou ik geen t****e keer meer boeken in dit hostel of ze moet ontslagen zijn !!!!!!!¡

Very close to downtown, the railway station is just minutes by foot. Easy access to everything! With a group of teens, we stayed 2 nights. Friendly & helpful staff. Laundry service is tricky if you have quite a few people, but is available - there are no machines onsite - it is done by the overnight staff. Pack lunches & dinner are also available. Don't go on burger night - the veggie burger is ok, but .........

Non vicinissimo al centro ma nel complesso confortevole e pulito; camera abbastanza spaziosa (manca però un armadio o scaffale dove riporre i vestiti, i pochi ganci non sono sufficienti). Colazione ok (ma non inclusa nel prezzo). Dispone di un'ampia zona comune con tavoli, bar, una balconata esterna che si affaccia sul fiume e un bellissimo "jardin d'hiver" interno molto luminoso e suggestivo. Spazio interno per le bici incluso. Personale cortese. Prezzo un po' alto considerando che si tratta di un ostello. Nel complesso consigliato.

Rooms were generally clean and tidy, although the lack of ventilation means that it can get hot, especially in the summer. Breakfast was alright but could do with more variety. Most of the staff are really pleasant and do their best for customers, even when problems come up; that said, I came across two staff members who were rude, disinterested and nasty- one staff member was aggressive and confrontational when asking me about me entering the hostel at night with my keycard. Another was particularly disinterested when it came to serving customers, treating them as burdensome. All in all an alright stay. Though I'd recommend for only a few days at most.

Je suis allé dans cet hôtel avec ma classe pour un voyage scolaire et l’expérience est juste horrible. Il n’y a aucun espace dans la chambre, la deco est horrible et les plats ne sont plus servis a 19 heures ce qui est bcp trop tôt. N’y aller surtout pas
