Paleis Hotel

One of the best memories in The Hague, it can be said that this hotel set the tone of elegance and art film for the trip to The Hague. Paleis is located in a fairy tale-like alley in the city center, surrounded by mostly European high-end academic brands and some galleries. It feels quite like SoHo in New York. Within a three-minute walk, you can find Thai street food, Mexican food and a very modern coffee shop (opens at 7:30 in the morning). The convenience is comparable to that of Shanghai. I was surprised that the old-fashioned European furniture was so well preserved in this hotel, and even the noticeboards were framed. Every detail is carefully designed to reflect the good taste of European aristocrats, so the hotel also pays great attention to environmental protection. The service is very personal, and the patient butler communicates with you 1:1. They are all local middle-class people in the Netherlands. They like to chat very much and are very familiar with the surrounding shopping environment. You need to inform us if you arrive after 9pm because they close at 9pm. Many places in the Netherlands do not accept credit cards, including the Tram in The Hague. In fact, except for the central station, tickets are not sold elsewhere. The butler will sell you a day pass, which is very convenient. The only thing that made me feel a little uncomfortable is that there is no air conditioning, which is very common in old-style hotels in Europe. But it was already cool during the few days I was in The Hague, so it wasn’t a particularly big disadvantage. If you are on a business trip and come and go in a hurry, you may not feel the beauty of this hotel. More suitable for traveling, especially traveling alone. All in all, the experience provided by the hotel itself is very unique and great for taking photos.
