"I stayed at R&B Hotel Hachioji for 9 nights in a single non-smoking room from Dec 31, 2024, to Jan 8, 2025. First impressions: Room: The room was clean and relatively spacious, featuring a carpeted floor, a clean bathroom, and Toto toilets with a built-in bidet. Liquid soap and shampoo are also provided. The room was quiet and peaceful during my stay, perfect for resting after a long day. Amenities: A table with a wide variety of amenities (such as disposable toothbrushes, toothpaste, facial cleansers, facial toners, razors, shaving cream, to name a few) can be found on the lobby floor. A coin-operated laundry room with free detergent is also available on the 5th floor. While detergent is free, laundry costs about 200 yen for a 30-minute wash and 200 yen for a 30-minute dry. If needed, a coin exchanger is available on the lobby floor. Service: The staff were super friendly and accommodating despite the language barrier. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi throughout my stay, which was very convenient for staying connected. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and efficient, and if needed, you can leave your luggage at the hotel before check-in time. Breakfast was included in my package and consisted of curry and rice, oats, yogurt, boiled eggs. For beverages, there was a coffee machine, orange juice, apple juice and tea. Towels and toiletries are changed daily during cleaning time. However, bed sheets are changed only every 3 days, so if your stay is shorter than that, bedding will not be changed—something to keep in mind. Convenience: The hotel is very well located, with three convenience stores nearby (7-11, Family Mart and Lawsons). The Keio line is just a 5-minute walk away, and the JR line is a bit further, about a 10-minute walk, but still very convenient. There are also shopping malls and eateries nearby. The surrounding area is lively yet peaceful, making it easy to explore. Value for Money: Considering the location, amenities, and service, I found the hotel to offer excellent value for money. ありがとうございました"

"I love this hotel! I was worried at first cuz it was definitely far from tokyo city center however the room is so clean and nice, the train station is right outside,the staff is great too and they even have cute welcome gifts! I was definitely well rested each night after walking around tokyo. The area is very nice to explore too so the distance stopped being a big deal"

"The house is a little smaller, but it's cheap and affordable. The cleaning lady can speak Chinese, which is good. There are private bathrooms and they are clean."

"The front desk staff is dressed in suits and masks and looks decent. They will check and copy passports. The entrance of the hotel is quite cute. There are vegetables on the shelves but no one is hawking and it is not noisy. There is also bread and other food in the lobby for easy purchase. The room has a window. There is no hand sanitizer in the bathroom. I hope it can be replenished. The hotel is still a little distance away from the subway station on foot, but it is not a remote place. I remember that there is a vintage store next to the hotel. There are commercial streets around it, many restaurants, spicy hot pot restaurants, and drug stores. I met a lot of students in the afternoon, there are quite a lot of residents, not many tourists. The weather is good and sunny, and the experience of shopping during the day is good. The disadvantage is that I can hear the sound of police cars patrolling on the first night. I am a little worried about safety. Fortunately, nothing happened."

"It's close to the station, and there are many convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The room is clean. Check-in and check-out were completed in no time. Since I had paid in advance, the process was very smooth. The size was just right for one person. The plum kelp tea amenity was very delicious. The front desk staff were also very kind. I will use it again if I have the opportunity."

"It's conveniently located near the station. The room was well-cleaned and I had a pleasant stay. I was confused about how to enter my details when checking in, but I wish they would have helped me nearby rather than just giving me advice from the reception desk."

"The accommodation was so much better than what I thought! It's spacious and comfortable with the window view of the trees and 5 minute walk from the train station and Mt Takao trail. Youhei who greeted us at reception was outstanding in his customer service, he explained there would be vegan breakfast served daily as I put a request for vegan and didn't get a response that there would be vegan breakfast and he gave us tips on how to use the amenities here and how to communicate to the restaurant staff about our request. We enjoyed the bonfire and cooking corn which tasted amazing. The feedback I would give is the young Japanese woman who served us for dinner on the first night on Friday 12th July at 8pm, she was very quick to get the bill and take the money without being patient and focused, it felt like we we're not welcomed. Other than that I would come back again!"

"The cottage-style room locks the second Sam turn at the top of the entrance door and the electricity in the room is half gone. I think the hotel side is probably locked from the outside for management and the electricity in the room is turned off. I think that there was a comment that the room was not turned on by the word of mouth that the person who did not know the mechanism experienced the phenomenon that the electricity was not turned on. I also noticed at check-out, so I thought it would be good to write, ”If you lock the Sam turn at the top of the door, the electricity will not be half turned on.”"
