Thanks for looking at our Sonoran home! Escape your busy life to our sunny, 5-acre sanctuary, nestled in the close-in Tucson Mountain District just east of Saguaro National Park and 15 minutes west of downtown. Our Santa-Fe style home, with its giant, natural beams and stucco exterior, has been a highly rated rental property for the last 17 years with many repeat visitors, and we are the new owners. We’ve added solar heating to the dramatic infinity pool which extends the season by a few weeks fall and spring, though not through the winter. It hangs out over the wild and natural scenery with an army of saguaro cacti and breathtaking views of the Catalina Mountains and wild desert landscape. You won’t want to leave the pool and bubbling hot tub / spa scene on our patio, day or night, as this is entertainment enough to keep you busy! There’s a covered brick patio with large dining table for enjoying your meals outdoors, or just sit and watch the twinkling stars, spectacular city lights and the moonrise. There’s a perfect spot for yoga, and plenty of lounges for sunning. While Tucson offers many fabulous dining options, a serious cook will love our large, fully equipped kitchen with bar seating and a big island. A trip to the nearest grocery store (or a bit longer drive to my favorite store, AJ’s) and you’re set for wonderful nights in, plus breakfasts and dramatic sunrises. We will provide a list of convenient shops and restaurants for you when you arrive! There are drip and Keurig coffee pots and some coffee to get your motor started. The adjacent dining room has a family-sized table plus a little coffee-drinking spot, with big picture windows to observe the desert and watch for deer & wildlife. A spacious, vaulted living room offers a large TV on Dish network so you can pull up your favorite movies, or bring your DVDs, and a comfy leather couch for your naps! Large picture windows provide an ever-changing scenery where you can watch morning break, night fall, or weather blow through the valley. Guests have raved about our comfortable beds! There are three bedrooms, two with king beds and attached bathrooms. The primary/master bedroom has room for a rollaway (provided) or baby’s porta crib (not provided) and all bedrooms offer plenty of closet space and hangers. The third bedroom has a queen sized bed and is next to the hall bath. You’ll find comfy robes hanging in your closet, plus laundry baskets, and we have a new washer/dryer. There is also a guest/half bath. Bedrooms are conveniently separated with the master on one wing and the other two bedrooms situated on the opposite side of the house.Internet and wi-fi are provided, as is a comfortable desk setup for working from home. Our cell phones work great up on the hilltop! There are plenty of bath and pool towels, but don’t forget your sunscreen! Two-car attached garage will keep your cars in the shade, and there is a circle turnaround in the front. The half-mile private drive up to the house is an adventure as you climb to the hilltop, and it adds to the amazing experience staying at Casa Gaje. All of this beauty exists just 10 minutes to grocery shopping, Saguaro National Monument, Costco or Starbucks! Highway 10 makes navigating to U of A, the airport, or downtown a breeze. This property feels a world apart from civilization, yet you’re within 15-20 minutes from many outstanding restaurants. If you love hiking, we’re in the sweet spot- the Sweetwater Preserve and Camino del Cerro trailheads are a couple of minutes away, as is the Saguaro National Park with many hiking options. There are about a dozen trailheads within a 15 -20 minute drive.Shoppers will find the Premium Outlet shopping within a few minutes drive, and the Lost Barrio shops are definitely worth checking out for authentic and unique treasures. There are cute boutiques throughout town and lots of cool areas to explore. Stargazers will love the nearby Flandrau Science Center & Planetarium, Stuart Observatory, Mt Lemmon Sky Center Observatory or the grandaddy of them all, Kitt Peak Observatory is 62 miles and well worth the visit! In looking at airfare options, the house is about 25 minutes from Tucson Airport, just over 95 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor, although the car rental process at PHX might easily add more than hour to your travel time. We've tried it. Once.Helpful suggestion... Even if you don't normally buy travel insurance, please understand vrbo policies for close-in changes and cancellations listed on property descriptions.Golfers will find Silverbell Golf Course right around the corner and numerous world-class courses in the Catalina Foothills. For family fun, Top Golf is 10 minutes from home. But the most wonderful activity of all is enjoying our million-dollar views with your family or friends, poolside at Casa Gaje.About pets:No pets allowed.About checkOut:Check out before 10:00 AM.About children:Children allowed: ages 0-17.A few prickly cacti on the patio around the pool..About customRules:Sorry, no fireplace fires or burning candles inside due to location and insurance, and no citronella candles outside - they melt! Great
GGuest UserWe stayed at WaterWalk on Marketplace in Tucson for the University of Arizona's graduation. This hotel is clean, convenient and the rooms are great! We loved the available amenities in the room. A full size fridge, dishwasher, stove, and washer and dryer! It was like a studio apartment as a hotel room. The bed was so comfortable and the pillows were do die for! It's a family friendly, pet friendly property. It was literally across the parking lot from a brand new 7 Brew being built and a very quick drive across the main road to Starbucks and a Walmart. Right outside of the hotel is a gas station (which is also very clean and nice) - for extra convenience. It was a quick drive to the University of Arizona, and any other places we needed to attend for the the weekend. If you're in the area to visit friends, family or your Wildcat - this is a great place to stay! Highly recommended! 10/10. They even have a social area/pool area outside, unfortunately, we were unable to enjoy that part - as we were on a packed schedule!

AAngela_jadeNo one has lived in Ctrip, so it is the first review, write down the real review: Advantages: clean, rooms, bedding, and toilets are very clean and tidy, 2 looks like a legendary motel (I haven't lived in it, I don't know what a motel is, I thought it might be a car modification called a motel, There is an exquisite old car at the entrance of this hotel. My friend said it might be a motel 😅, I don’t know.) But we have done a lot of art fountains. The entire yard is also clean, orderly, safe, and absolutely safe. There are lobby and two The very formal front desk looks and wears pretty nice including talking, so security is no problem. There is free milk, ice water, coffee supply in the small lobby, there is a long bar, and there is another one when you go out. The small swimming pool looks very clean) Disadvantages: The 17-square-meter house really feels small and compact, the bed is 1.5 meters, it is really small for two people, and the air conditioner is very loud. I didn’t take the real scene of the hotel. It’s almost the same as the hotel itself, but the simple room catalog is very interesting. It should be counted as our domestic bed and breakfast. I saw the sanitation cleaner during the checkout. Wow, I’m in good shape. Beautiful black girl Tucson made a temporary decision. It was because the rooms became dissatisfied during various major exhibitions. Or else the price of 4 points or more was not decent. The AC Marriott in the city center last year has been more than 4,000 and nearly 5,000. In fact, the hotel rooms are not only large. It’s clean. The facilities in other rooms of the brand hotel are fine, so after thinking about the domestic epidemic, I’d better save some. I can also buy more masks. Finally, I looked at it on the booking and the evaluation was pretty good. I forgot the high score of 8.5 or 9.1. Most of the comments were clean and safe. It was 1500 on the day and I made a reservation for one day. In the next two days, I chose the Four Points by Sheraton Airport Hotel with a score of 4.2 because it was the next two days. The price is good for 1,300 and there is a room for a night. It was confirmed later that it was quite clear. The hotel next to the airport occupies the largest area and the hotel environment is good.

Great
GGuest UserEverything was great except for a barking dog in a room close by, some children running in the halls, and someone pounding on their door to be let in because they forgot their card key, this was not the staffs fault, just people not being respectful of others. The staff was excellent, very friendly and helpful, even the cleaning staff was friendly. The breakfast food was very good, prepared hot with the cook maintaining the food and keeping it clean. The rooms were very clean and they tidied up the room and cleaned the bathroom and brought in all clean towels and new toiletries. When we next visit Tucson, I will use this hotel again. There was a fitness room that had everything that most people would want, but we were too tired to use it.

PPanda LynnJust not up to Hampton Inn standard The one working elevator, the crunchy towels that felt like bath mats, the 7 unattended small kids left in the hall, the non existence water pressure. Waking up to a small kid screaming at 630 am and then running up and down the halls until we left at 9am was enough to decided I'd rather stay at a motel 6 than at another Hampton at least I'll only be paying under $50 for the night to deal with all that mess rather than $150 plus a night plus parking

ZZHEWEIThe overall design of the hotel is great, and every place has been carefully designed. The hotel is built on a hill with a natural waterfall that is said to protect more than 30 endangered species. There is a golf course in front, a swimming pool in the back, a bar and gym facilities, and many golfers come on weekends. We booked a big bed room without breakfast, the room is 45 square meters, very spacious

ННиколайNice hotel right next to the airport. There is a hot pool, a nice courtyard with palm trees and oranges. The hotel restaurant is one of the top 5 in the city according to trip advisor, the food is delicious. The room was not cleaned even once in 5 days.

DDhimant YGood part - the front desk person when we checked in was very welcoming, friendly and lively! Even when we spent some time in the lobby late in evening, he was a very good company to spend time with.  Not so good part - the shower in the bathroom was absolutely useless! There was no water pressure and the water was just a trickle. Not anywhere near normal expectations.

GGuest UserThe front desk people were helpful and friendly. The room was big and the bed was comfortable. The restaurant for breakfast was disrupted for refurbishing but a food truck filled in to serve basic breakfast. The room service was limited and you had to book it the night before. They have a nice pool.

GGuest UserThe hotel experience was not aligned to a ”Hyatt” standard, but for the price that they were charging for the night and also seeing that Hyatt recently purchased the hotel from Sonesta, I think it was a good experience. The beds were very comfortable.

GGuest UserThe front desk was awesome and helpful, but the price of the room was not that of a $100 per night $100 deposit La Quinta. This location should be no more that $60 per night. Other than that there was parking for truck and trailer and everything was still there in the morning.
