Sheraton Tucson Hotel & Suites

My son and I checked out within hours after our arrival because we just could not sleep in this hotel. The curtains had what looked like blood stains, one of the beds was dirty. Signs for vending and ice were not accurate and we could not find the actual ice machine. My son and I stepped in dog pee in the hallway . The hotel felt dirty and even though we checked out just hours after arriving they charged me the full price of the hotel. This hotel overall was very unpleasant. Although the restaurant was open we waited 15 minutes and no one attended to us and we could not find anyone in the restaurant to assist us. Horrible experience.

My mother and I booked at this hotel in April 2026. She was visiting me for the first time since I moved to Tucson, and I wanted her staying in a space that promised superb comfort. Sheraton is a large and clean establishment that offers a gorgeous view of the mountains, along with on-site amenities to make one's stay more enjoyable. These include: a pool, fitness center, and a restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The hotel is also within walking distance to an Ihop, CVS, and a hospital. I booked our room through the Marriot Bonvoy app, and with a military discount, I purchased a suite for $566.05- the same price for a regular room! In my reservation, I mentioned that that I'd prefer a room on a high floor with a view of the street. The staff delivered exactly what I wanted. This means a lot to me considering the last time I requested something from a hotel, they did not follow through even though they said they would. Sheraton being committed to customer's satisfaction, and sticking true to their word is a great way to keep guests coming back. Upon arrival, the staff was kind and helpful; I never felt uncomfortable approaching them. They were especially patient with my mother, who would inquire about the neighborhood and need assistance for small tasks. The suite was exceptionally clean, and I made sure to check thoroughly too, given the negative reviews on Yelp. I like to think that whatever issues previous guests had in the past have been taken into consideration and improved by the time of my visit. I really appreciate the staff's efforts to be more diligent by learning from mistakes. I genuinely have no complaints about my stay. I would recommend this spot to anybody visiting Tucson! Sheraton is the perfect head start to a fun weekend exploring the city. I'm pleased to know that if any family comes to visit again, Sheraton will give them a safe environment that will make them feel right at home!

Perhaps you thought, it's in the Marriott family, I stayed at that great property once for work, I mean it's on the Bonvoy website, the pictures look nice and I'm getting points. It has a pool which is what your daughter who is looking at the U of A wanted and based on the photo of it (taken from a thousand feet up) it looks inviting. Club level? Must be nicer, room looks new and it's a suite. If you drive east on Speedway Avenue in Tucson, keep going. Past the bud tenders, past the low slung homes and pot holed streets and you will find this hotel. The structure is from the 70's nothing has been done to the exterior since the build. Sheraton was slapped up on the side years ago and the front side of the letters are missing. The rooms are big yes, and upgraded. But you are in a sad little corner of the world, the pool sad, no one is sitting out to sun themselves there. The club level? A dark room that smells odd and food you wouldn't want to eat is laid out in the morning and at night. The saving grace? A Starbucks coffee machine that makes fresh brewed cups of coffee. This is what you are paying for. Every surface of the interior and exterior of this hotel's public spaces and lobby are dingy and covered with fingerprints, floor paint is peeling, there is a tattooed man smoking outside standing in a parking lot riddled with litter for you to park your vehicle, for free. If you are anything other than a trucker passing through or a person on the run, do yourself a favor and stay at one of the many other hotels in the vicinity. This place is bad news. The good news, we bought day passes to the JW Marriott resort up the hill, amazing.
