Have been to Taipei many times and previously been staying near Taipei main station. It was my first stay around Banqiao and first at this hotel. While definitely not as convenient a location relative to the main station, it was still quite a short MRT ride to popular tourist spots like ximending. The room was huge, clean and comfortable. The rooftop swimming pool was also nice and not crowded. All in all an excellent hotel that i would recommend and likely book when i visit Taipei again.

Very impressed by the cleanliness of this place. The bathroom was pristine, and the showers were powerful with plenty of hot water. The rooms are indeed VERY small so be prepared for that . Luckily I had a room with a window, so an added bonus. When I was there the place was very quiet, so I had the living area (to eat in) and the use of the bathroom totally to myself! St.Ignatius (orange line) is the closest metro station. If you opt to have the breakfast, you can either take it in the café on the ground floor OR get a voucher for the MacDonald's down the street. Check in is AT 3PM... and NOT a minute before!🤣

The location was very convenient for my business meetings. The big mall closeby had many good restaurants. However, there was some insect in my room, and the A/C in the bar and in the breakfast area was extremely cold, so I was afraid I would get a cold. Service was very good however, we got help in arranging a car and the information about the insect issue was followed up on.

Room is spacious and clean. Shower room and toilet are separate. Staff are polite and helpful. We arrived late in the afternoon at 5pm and were recommended to have food at the next building's restaurant, which were special and delicious. Walking distance to train station is about 10 to 13 minutes, which is reasonable. We also tried the sandwiches and coffee breakfast downstairs before departure. We really enjoyed our stay 4 nights there!

Breakfast is very good with many food varieties. But sometime the breakfast room got crowded when there were tourist group joined. The room is spacious and clean. The aircon works well, but it would be great if the window could be pop-open briefly to exchange fresh air. The shuttle bus to and from the metro/railway station to hotel is timely according to its schedule. The driver of the shuttle bus is great and warm.

We loved our stay here. It’s the perfect hot spring for all kind of trips. Amazing for families too with perfect spots for youngest to enjoy.
There is only one thing to complain: the quality of the food, we had breakfast (pretty decent), but lunch options are really limited, not much veggies to add in your plate and not very healthy options. Also, the cut of the meats weren’t the best, so the meat we tried was really hard to chew.
The staff, specially in the main building are really helpful and kind.

Location is cool, 1 minute proximity to MRT station. Just through the entrance near reception and turn left.
Night market is just 5 minutes walk away. Turn right after main entrance. Street games and dinner.
Supermarket and traditional market nearby... can search for Nanxing Market.. good fruits and veggies for the soul and body
Breakfast place is turn left after the other entrance. An old black and grey dog lives there. Yummy radish cake LuobaGao and fried egg.. milk tea also.. bring your own plate cup and utensil for a carefree breakfast

I specially brought my children to play, but the game room is very simple and requires a fee. The opening hours of the parent-child fitness center are very short and the space is not big. The hotel hardware is good although it is older, but it is still clean. There are really few service staff. All services are required. It’s really hard to wait and wait for breakfast. Many things are not replenished. The cafe on the first floor is also very hard to eat. It’s hard to believe that the food in this hotel is of this level. I was full of expectations for this hotel. Now I can only say that I probably won’t visit again.

GGuangchengI used it with my family. As I was looking for a place to stay, a man came looking for me on a motorbike and met me. When they arrived at the room they were shown to, the child was excited. Jiufen Old Street is also just a short walk up the stairs next to the hotel. He also gave me detailed information on recommended shops, which was very helpful. They also kindly made reservations for restaurants in Taipei, making it a perfect trip. The breakfast was delicious, and both children ate it all. I definitely want to use it again next time. It was 100% Japanese, and the cost performance was high. Thank you for a good time.

As we have to leave very early to the airport..without further words, Ms Yang was so meticulous enough to suggest Breakfast Bento ( attached is the nutritious 爱心bento ，thank you the kitchen staff for the preparation🙏 😍) and Mr Masaki handles our last minute request promptly in a professional way..The staff of Just Sleep Sanchong seem to know 读心术 & wil fulfill all your needs🥺😍. Second, even though the hotel is few years old but the room and all amenities are still in a very good condition. the comfortable bed, clean floor, good shower 👍 Real appreciate Mr Daniel for making up the rooms everyday and was very impressed by the sparkling clean toilet. Third, distance is not a problem at all as the Mrt station is just a few steps away.. Anyway still suggest to carry light as uber cannot access almost narrow roads around Jiufen. The view from the room is perfect!! You can see both mountains and sea from upstairs room. The room is cozy with 2 queen beds/1 booking room. 1 booking room = half of the house ＞＞ 1 room downstairs and 1 upstairs but limited 2 person/ 1 booking room) so if you come are a group of 4 people you can book 2 rooms (whole house). The bnb is not fits with people with knee issue as you will have to walk down the stairs to reach bnb but it has access to old street not far but up. I still think its a great place to stay. Breackfast comes with package (sandwich, omelette, and veggies). You can discuss with host for check in and can leave bag after check out. Overall love the place its nice and clean and you can chill in the room until check out time 12.00

We hailed a cab to get there from the airport,but the driver got lost even with GPS. Since Jiufen is located on
high mountains with very narrow roads, we felt a bit car sick from 1 hour and 30 minutes of the ride at the end.
We, however found out the hotel was actually located on very convenient and easy to get by next day!
The outside spa was not that clean, neither even was not warm enough to get in, the weather there was very cold!
The breakfast was worthy to have, because around there no place to eat unless you take a ride to get down to Old
Street place. We felt a bit chilly inside of the room, it could be the cold weather at this time ( in March?) One thing very odd was the length of the bed in the master room, even for me my feet could touched the end of the bed!( i am 5’2”.) Overall not bad, liked their clean and staff were very friendly. If you got bed knees, watch out those enormous steps every other corners!

Whether traveling as a family or traveling with friends, this stay is a satisfying experience.
The parking lot, however, was a little adventure. Although the hotel provides a parking lot, getting in and out requires some skills and courage, especially for travelers who are not familiar with local roads. But this ”thrilling exploration” process turned out to be an interesting part of the journey, making people smile.
When you come to Tamsui, how can you miss the fun of taking a ferry and visiting the old streets? Taking a ferry across the Tamsui River, with the gentle breeze and sparkling water, one feels like traveling through time. There are a dazzling array of snack stalls and handicraft shops on the old streets, showing strong local culture. Whether it’s freshwater aji, fish cakes or sweet taro balls, every bite is unforgettable. Strolling along the old streets, you can not only feel the living atmosphere of the local residents, but also gain an in-depth understanding of the history and culture of Tamsui.
In addition, the visits to Hongmao City and the University of Truth were also very fruitful. As an important relic of Taiwan's history, Hongmao City has witnessed the cultural blending of different periods. Walking there, you feel like you can hear the echoes of history. Truth University attracts people with its beautiful architecture and quiet campus. Every corner of the campus is like a carefully arranged picture frame, suitable for taking photos.
This trip is not limited to Tamsui. The MRT allows us to easily connect to downtown Taipei, extending the scope of our trip. The grandeur and solemnity of the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall are deeply moved, while the prosperity of Ximending shows the modern side of Taipei. The Normal University Night Market is a paradise for gourmet food. From creative dishes to traditional snacks, every dish is mouth-watering and is the perfect end to the journey.
Overall, this trip to Tamsui and Taipei was full of surprises and pleasures. From comfortable accommodation to rich attractions to diverse food culture, each part adds a different color to this journey. Whether it’s historical exploration, cultural experience, or taste bud satisfaction, this trip leaves people with endless expectations.
