This boutique hotel is very well managed and provides a top quality environment and exceptional service that rivals even international 5 star hotels. We were impressed. From pre arrival to departure at the train station, the team follows up closely to ensure you’re well looked after - and if there is ever any question, anyone in the team is very swift to respond. The property sits midway of the village and is situated on higher ground, providing an expansive view overlooking other houses. In room, they clearly spare no effort providing very good quality fittings. The breakfast spread didn’t disappoint and is a very decent array of local and western options. The one highlight and very considerate gesture provided by the hotel was bringing in a private demonstration of Dong cultural singing. The close interaction with these cultural ambassadors was invaluable and very much enjoyable. Lastly thank you to the amazing team running the hotel like clock work including Mr Chen, 小石，小龙 and everyone else whom i interacted with but didn’t get a chance to know all your names! Thank you once again and I look forward to the next time!

Probably the best hotel during our trip through China. Great location in Zhaoxing overlooking the historical village in a very quiet area, perfect for who needs rest from the hustle of Chinas big cities. Beautiful, carefully designed and furnished room with wooden floors furniture, very comfortable beds and great bathrooms.
Lots of little extras, like a beautiful reception area with balcony, a generous fruit basket refilled every day, great and healthy breakfast, pick up service from the train station etc.
Young and very friendly hosts, english is hardly spoken but with a translation app communication is easy and the staff are keen on helping you with any questions.
As the house was not fully booked, they surprised us with a free upgrade to a larger room.
Over all, an amazing experience!

Outside the window of the room was a river with a wind and rain bridge, the curtains were stuck, and the customer service came to close. The front desk service is very good. The old and new hotel is not like it opened in 2023. The waiter is very welcoming. There is a washing machine dryer and drying balcony. The cold dishes for breakfast are delicious. 700 meters from the Liping meeting site? The Liping meeting site is right next to the street. From the meeting site, I wore it to the street. Li Ping's grandmother was really hardworking and sold the side dishes on the street.

The hotel has a pick-up service, and the attitude is super good. I told the hotel in advance that a handsome guy would pick me up at the high-speed rail station. The hotel is right at the entrance of the village. You can see the whole picture of the village from the room. It is very convenient to go out and walk into the village. Hahaha, I was suddenly hungry when I returned to the hotel on the first night of my stay. The hotel guy also lent me a bicycle to buy food in the village. When I checked out, I left something at the hotel. I told the hotel front desk that I left something. I was on the high-speed rail at 11 o'clock, and the handsome guy sent me to the high-speed rail station at 10:30. This is a plus, super awesome! ! !

Contact us as soon as you place an order, and note our number of people, catering taste and mode of transportation. Recommend to us to adjust the room type that suits us, recommend the itinerary to us, and even have a lot of travel suggestions that are not in Zhaoxing. They will also take the initiative to contact us the day before check-in. Now Dong Village no longer allows inns to provide private charter services, but living in Seclusion is really invincible. The high-speed rail station transportation bus can be sent directly to the entrance of the inn. You can drive to the entrance of the scenic spot and take a sightseeing bus. There is also a dedicated Seclusion station, which is 200 meters away. Ping Road can also go to the entrance of the inn. If you leave the inn and go to the gate of the scenic spot or the high-speed rail station, you can help to contact the transportation car to the gate of the inn. Every time we get on and off the bus, we can hear the envious voices of other inn guests, it’s really awesome. The scenery seen in the room is the highest scenery in the Dong village. It is really beautiful. You can pet cats and play chess in the lobby, which is also very pleasant. JJamesHarrisMy friend and I stayed here for one night and, whilst overall our stay was fine, I did feel some things were lacking. The room was large, with plenty of space, but the bathroom was tiny. The windows were entirely frosted which meant there was no view of the outside, which made the room feel rather claustrophobic. But BY FAR the biggest problem for me was the air conditioning. It was on constantly, at the lowest setting, but the room never cooled down throughout our stay. It wasn’t particularly hot at the end of August but with the lack of windows that opened, and high humidity, it made the room feel very stuffy and affected my sleep. The temperature of the room is an important factor for me and I wouldn’t stay here again without knowing beforehand that the AC was working as it should.

The reason why I chose Guizhou is that its tourism policy supports it and reduces the ticket burden for me. Second, Guizhou is a place with simple folk customs and the custom of ”celebrating small festivals lightly and celebrating big festivals grandly”. I wanted to experience the happiness of the local villagers, and eventually my destination was Zhaoxing Dong Village, which is known for its singing and dancing and is the best Dong village in the world. Before this, when traveling alone, it is inevitable that personal safety and a good experience would be the top priority. After repeated consideration, I chose the Bula Lakeside Hotel in Zhaoxing Dong Village. My choice did not disappoint me, as I knew nothing about the local scenic route and how to take a bus into the village. Fortunately, the staff at Lake Bula contacted me in advance the day before my departure and patiently answered my questions. In case I was afraid that my verbal information would be forgotten, they added me as a WeChat friend and repeated it in text form. This was a real plus for me among the many B&Bs I have stayed in. It was the first time I had such a good impression of an accommodation. Secondly, what made me happy was that I took a minibus to the village. It was noon when the sun was the hottest and brightest. I got off the bus at the minibus terminal and contacted the staff. The young man who came to pick me up was really enthusiastic. I could have carried my luggage by myself as I was traveling light, but I couldn't resist his enthusiasm and he rushed to help me carry my luggage to the store (which was very close, only 4-5 minutes away). In the store, the three young ladies at the front desk also welcomed me very warmly, with smiles on their faces and greetings. They checked me in and acted as my tour guide to introduce the entire village to me. We asked and answered questions, talked and laughed. Although I was in an unfamiliar environment, I felt an inexplicable sense of intimacy. Even the sisters and aunties who cleaned the rooms greeted us with a smile, which was a super super plus. Secondly, the breakfast in the store is also very good, with a variety of choices. The meals made by the chef of Bula Lakeside are also worthy of praise. There are many special dishes. I had two meals at his house. I ordered sour soup fish, stir-fried beef, crispy pork, and spring water stewed chicken, which were really to my taste. I think next time I go there, I want to stay at their house and eat the food they cook. (What’s more, their big fat cat Pippi is really adorable and very cute.) The one-day and one-night journey was really fast, but it was a pity that the time was too short. I had the urge to not leave. I would like to put a perfect end to my special forces journey: the best scenery is in Zhaoxing, and the best destination is by the Bula Lake.

AAnnybeibeiIt was an unforgettable experience to take my son to stay at Zizai Shanju Inn in Zhaoxing Dong Village Scenic Area! Zhaoxing Dong Village is a scenic spot full of ethnic customs, and Zizai Shanju Inn provides you with a comfortable and warm accommodation environment.
After I placed the order, the store contacted me and informed me of all the details of my visit. When they learned that I was bringing a child with me, they also thoughtfully provided me with the weather conditions during our stay and let me know what clothes to bring. After checking in, I was impressed by the details of the inn. Each room is carefully designed with a strong Dong style. You can admire the beautiful Dong architecture and feel the cultural charm of this ancient nation.
The environment around the inn is also very pleasant. Taking my son for a walk in the village, I felt the tranquility and harmony. In the evening, you can also enjoy Dong song and dance performances, which made our journey more colorful.

BBERNARD SCHACKISI came many times in this hotel, his location near the gate and beside the park is very quiet. No noise, no car. The staff don’t speak English but is really helpful and friendly. Hotel can provide tickets for the attractions at lower price, just ask them. Also they will tell you the best places to visit in the village. Breakfast is only local noddles but I found them delicious. Of course, if you have car, you need to park at the gate of the village and take a shuttle bus. This is mandatory. No tourist cars in the village. Hundred of restaurants in the village, so no problem for this.

- I found a big spider the size of a hand in my room (but to be honest: I don't blame the owners for that because the spider could just come from the window, so it's not their fault)
- the staff doesn't speak English
Pros:
- It is the cheapest hotel with license to give an accommodation for foreigners in Zhaoxing.
- The receptionist came to my room immediately after my call in his free time and killed that spider I was talking about above. He is my hero! :)
- Apart of stained towels and bed linen the room was cleaner than other rooms in other hostels I stayed in China.
- The hotel has a good location just next to the town's gate.
- I have got a bottle of water for free and all toiletries.

Many tourists come to the B&B to check in the building, proving that the aesthetics satisfy most people. However, the location is far from the village gate. If you check in with a suitcase, you may need to spend some effort.
Facilities: The owner of the B&B graduated from Sichuan Fine Arts Institute. There are clothing and ceramic works for sale in a separate space, which is also an option for shopping.
Service: Breakfast self-service is provided, which is a plus point among B&Bs of the same price. After all, there was no price increase during the May Day holiday, while other prices doubled.

The carpet should be tattered and dirty as if it hadn't been cleaned. The first sight of entering the room is okay, close the window and turn on the air conditioner, and found that the window and the surrounding area are full of spider webs and insects. Pull the curtains, suddenly a spider 🕷️ that has been slapping the size of a palm jumped onto the bed, it scared me! Immediately ask the front desk to arrange a replacement. The lady at the front desk is okay, but the cleaning lady waited for half an hour and didn't come to change it! There is a chandelier with cobwebs on the top of the bed, I was afraid it would fall... I didn't know there was a bar nearby when I ordered it, and the singing kept ringing all night. Couldn't sleep at all this night. Thinking about returning the next day, let’s just pass by in one night... I will definitely not come again next time! !
