"The house is clean, situated above shoplot. One of the room with twin bed is not fully cover up, is just a open space with half wall build and no door, just a curtain to close. One great experience is they use projector for TV shows, can enjoy movies night."

"We book triple room and it was perfect. It has all amenities like coffee 3 in 1 sachets, water kettle, hair dryer , disposable toothbrush and fridge. At night we have a good sleep despite muffled sound from karaoke pub nearby. Parking is free in level 1 and 2. However when checking out from basement, no security guard there during lunch hour to help us scan barcode. The scanner is hard to detect paper barcode . We have to blindly scan for 1 min. This is 1 star for parking. If the receptionist can teach us how to scan..there is 2 paper barcode to scan. Overall it is good value of money."

"I was surprised at how clean and tidy my hotel room was, like a brand new hotel that opened not long ago. Not to mention the cleanliness and tidiness of the entire hotel. The staff there, both the front desk attendants and the cleaners, were very polite and smiled when talking to customers. Keep up the good work! Hopefully it will be as good as I experienced when I come back again!"

"First of all, a big thank you to Mr. Vickneswaran from the security team for his warm guidance and assistance from the moment we entered the auto parking system. He was incredibly helpful in showing us where to go and made us feel very welcomed right from the start. To my surprise, one of the staff members even shared a piece of cake and wished us a wonderful honeymoon vacation—such a thoughtful gesture! (I was so touched, I forgot to ask for the staff’s name.) Moments like these really made our stay memorable. Overall, the staff were genuinely friendly, helpful, and made us feel appreciated throughout our visit. I’ve also included a photo of the lovely card greeting we received from the team—another sweet touch that we’ll always remember. Thank you again to the whole team for making our honeymoon start with such warm hospitality!"

"Surprised by how clean it was despite being an old hotel in the area. I am overall satisfied with the hotel and my room, especially the cleanliness of the toilet and tub area. If I have to be really fussy and pin point a thing I did not like, it would be that the blanket is slightly thinner than I would normally prefer a hotel blanket to me. However, this is just my very fussy side speaking. Overall, I would give this hotel a 4.9 out of 5. I had booked a room with breakfast during my two days there for a workshop. Both days are somewhat the same, food was decent. The workshop provided lunch which led me to again dining in the lunch buffet section, overall it was pleasant. I like it that the hotel provided a variety of Penang food over the two days. My fav was the rojak which I took a photo here haha! Hub enjoyed the pool and hot & cold pool (sadly the sauna was under maintenance). Before I checked out, I also happened to be part of the Penang heritage launch ceremony. So, I got to see some of the really beautiful art work and nyonya clothing items on sale at the pop up stalls at the lobby too. The hotel also was serving nutmeg juice and Penang famous snack 豆沙饼. I must mention too, that I got a sea view room which allowed me to see the extension project by MBPP. There was a very happening and lovely park opposite the hotel just minutes walk away. I couldn’t help to bring myself over and was really happy to experience the joy of the families enjoying the facilities there. Huge slide, lots of climbing equipment and a very decent skatepark! Running track was very nice too! You must check it out if you’re in Penang! It was overall a pleasant stay in all."

"We were upgraded to premium lounge, which includes breakfast, afternoon tea and evening cocktails. It's a great gesture for me as I am going through chemo therapy, the hygiene issue is top priority for me. I was truly appreciative to have a quiet and peaceful environment to have all my meals in the hotel. St. Giles has the most comfortable linens that you can find. I slept well and hope to return again in very near future."

"Had always been contemplating whether or not to try G Hotel Kelawai. Bit the bullet and here's my review; Room is spacious and comfortable, bed is top notch. Free minibar (replenished daily) is a plus. Swimming pool is nice although a bit shallow, and Gravity is a nice place to chill at night with view overlooking the island and Bukit Bendera. Is it worth the money? Yes. Location? Perfect. It'd be hard to find another hotel in Penang that checks all my boxes, and this could be it."

"My 1st stay in Jen Penang and will not be my last. The location is superb. Very close to malls and walking distance to the Hin Bus Depot and Chowrasta Market. Good spread of buffet breakfast although the place is a bit cramped. The room size is big enough for 2 pax. Comfy bed and pillows. Pretty room and super clean inside and out. Will definitely come back with my family next time!"

"I booked three rooms for our stay. 1 room has poor AC conditioning. Not cool at all. We arrived late at night so we did not request for a change or maintenance to resolve. The room is very small. No iron in the room."
