"Xishuangbanna Jinghong Jimu River View Hotel is amazing! Located along the riverside, it offers the perfect viewpoint for sunsets and evening views. You can see the bridge across the Mekong River and the buildings on the opposite shore, beautifully lit with colorful lights—a truly breathtaking sight. The hotel is also close to street food vendors and food/fruit shops just below the building. The night market is only a 10-15 minute walk away, making this location ideal. The facilities and services, including A/C, a tea kettle, hair dryer, swimming pool, airport pickup, breakfast, slippers (changed daily!), towels, washing machine (this surprised me!), toothbrush, toothpaste, tissue paper, and more, are excellent—better than other hotels I’ve stayed at. It’s essentially a smart hotel! There’s a Xiaodu AI (like Google Alexa or Siri) to help you manage room functions such as opening/closing curtains, turning lights on/off, and controlling music—it's so innovative! However, it currently only supports Mandarin. The bathroom features an automated toilet with self-flushing, a heated seat, and an automatic bidet. One thing to note is that there is no door or partition between the toilet/bathroom and the bedroom, so it’s an open design. If you’re sharing the room with friends or others you don’t know well, be mindful of this for privacy. The staff here are friendly and helpful, although their English is limited. They do their best to use translation tools, which is appreciated and works fine. Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00, so if you want to enjoy it, an early wake-up is necessary, haha! The food is simple and leans more towards Chinese style rather than Western, with options like noodles, cakes, stir-fried vegetables, soy milk, fresh milk, and watermelon. Overall, I rate this hotel 10/10! The few minor points I mentioned are easy to overlook, and the price is affordable and reasonable. You won’t find another hotel like this anywhere else! Don’t hesitate to make this hotel a memorable part of your trip—you won’t regret it! (I made two bookings for this hotel—so don’t be surprised if you see this review twice!)"

"Very good location, staff are friendly. My kids really enjoyed the swimming pool. Breakfast is delicious. Provide free airport pick up. Airport drop off cost 100 RMB, which is very good deal, as we have 7 people and 8 luggages with several backpacks. We hired the driver Mr.Yang who picked us up from the airport for some day trips, which saved us lots of traffic time. Room service was completed everyday stocking all our daily wants and needs. We ended up with a room with a real great view that looks over the river too! Wonderful experience!"

"The location of the hotel was great for those who want access to the city but also a quiet retreat in nature. It took about 25 minutes to drive to the night market and cabs were readily available. The hotel itself was beautiful and the room was clean and really comfortable, but unfortunately the pool was closed when we went (the temperature was still warm enough for swimming, so not sure if this was because of COVID?). The cafe and shop were also closed, so there were no options for quick snacks (you might want to bring your own along). The breakfast buffet had lots of selection. Views from the room were lovely, especially at sunset. "

"Very satisfied with this hotel experience! From the moment we picked up the airport, the service was very attentive and the driver was punctual and friendly. The hotel has a strategic location, very close to the Shwedagon Pagoda, and it is also very convenient to walk to the intersection and use the shared electric car. The room was spacious and comfortable, with complete facilities and clean and soft bedding, which ensured I had a good night's sleep. The staff's service attitude is excellent, and the WeChat butler-style service made me feel at home. I will choose here next time and highly recommend it to other travelers!"

"The last stop in Banna was arranged at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, which was the most correct arrangement for this trip. The room was clean, the bathroom was separated into wet and dry areas, and the balcony view was great, which made the body and mind relax. I made an appointment for hotel service in advance, and saw two elephants on the bed as soon as I entered the room. The hotel swimming pool was also very clean, and the bubble party in the afternoon was also loved by the children. The intangible cultural heritage handicrafts in the hotel lobby were also worth experiencing... I made an appointment with Anman for travel photography. The clothes and accessories were very beautiful. The hotel gave us simple photos, and if we wanted something more exquisite, there was an upgraded service. Children could wear accessories alone. The photographer was very professional and captured very smartly. The environment of the hotel was also beautiful. Almost every photo was good. I might have to struggle to choose the photos. "Ramada Hotel is located in a very good position. The staff is very friendly, the room very big, clean and a lot of amenities. The breakfast is served at 6th floor in an open-covered area (in the morning it was a little cold so better to dress a little more) and doesn’t have too many western style choices but it is acceptable. We enjoyed a lot the visit of Xishuangbanna and we recommend the Ramada hotel for your stay."

"We have been visiting the Pullman Resort during our Golden Week Holiday. The hotel was quite empty despite the festival season. We also know the Pullman in Sanya Bay well and were somewhat disappointed of the one in Xishuangbanna. Overall, the hotel was way too expensive for the provided quality and services, we cannot recommend it. Pro: The hotel has been a nice choice due to its rooms in good conditions but nothing “special”. + The location is a bit outside of Jinghong - so it’s quiet and green, you can do nice small walks in the area of the resort + Since it wasn’t full, you could easily get some space during breakfast + The breakfast was quite nice (but monotonous after 3 days). + Very nice of the breakfast staff: in the last morning they provided us some bacon since the children were looking for it Cons: General: - The service level was not good at many places of the hotel: - No English speaking staff in the hotel. Especially at the reception it’s a big disadvantage - No shuttle service to public spaces - In the area are not many shops or restaurants and at least many were closed during our stay (maybe because of Golden Week) - The outside breakfast area is not nice and you are more or less forced to sit inside due to pest control during morning - The intensity of pest control was terrible; every day they sprayed somewhere in the hotel chemicals. During the morning the garden was fully covered in smog of chemicals and you cannot go outside; even inside the breakfast area you could smell it; one day in the afternoon the entrance street to the street was fully covered with smog and it was almost impossible to walk through there, due to pest control the whole garden is literally dead, don’t expect nice butterflies or dragonflies - it’s all gone (see the first picture) The pool service is poor for many reasons: - You cannot order any food or drink at the pool; - They don’t have any seat mattresses/cover, you have to sit on the blank chairs - The number of seats at the pool is very limited, even when the hotel was not full, not every person could get a seat - The sunshade umbrellas are useless as they cannot be moved or changed and their direction does not protect well against the sun - The requirement to wear a swimming cap is strange and everyone needed to buy one… Overall: We cannot recommend the hotel for higher price, if you get it for low price it’s a good deal but look for some alternative if you can."

There is a book bar corner and a water bar in the lobby, as well as a convenience store🏪, a power bank rental counter, a gym, a swimming pool on the rooftop, a sky garden, a laundry room, and the hotel provides breakfast🍳. If you don’t want to get up early, you can ask the front desk to help pack. Hygiene: Bathrobes are provided in the room~ The bath towels are also very clean. I like their smart toilets🚽, Service: Five-star service standard, great👍 Order a takeaway, take a trip in the rooftop garden and pool lounge chairs, it’s wonderful, going out for a trip is to slow down and enjoy the comfort😌😉, The most important thing is that it is a pet-friendly hotel🏨, which is really convenient for me to travel with my dog!"

"**Review of Parisian Riverview Light Luxury Hotel** **Location: 5/5** The hotel’s location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the tourist area and within walking distance to the Starlight Market. The river view from the room was stunning, and having a balcony with a tub was a unique touch. **Staff & Service: 5/5** The staff went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They even created a WeChat group to assist us with any questions or concerns, which was incredibly helpful and made communication seamless. **Room & Amenities: 3.5/5** The room itself was pleasant, but there were a few drawbacks. The bathroom showed signs of wear, with some mold in the shower. The bathtub on the balcony was a fun idea, but the lack of privacy screens made it unusable. **Hotel Facilities: 3/5** The amenities were lacking for a ”light luxury” hotel. The rooftop bar was gutted and unavailable, and the gym was very basic. Breakfast had limited (mostly Chinese) options, which got repetitive after a few days. However, the food was always fresh and hot, and the variety of juices and teas helped balance it out. **Overall: 4/5** A great stay thanks to the amazing location and outstanding staff, but the hotel could improve by addressing maintenance issues, adding privacy for the balcony tub, and expanding breakfast choices. Would still recommend for the convenience and service!"
