After a long gap, we opted to stay at Lemon Tree Hotel, Sector 60, Gurugram, instead of the usual Red Fox Hotel in the same campus or the Keys Lite Mayfield in Sector 51. The last time we had stayed at the same property was way back in 2018-19. Check-in: We had travelled by our own vehicle, beating the dense fog on NE4. Parking was hassle free as the hotel has Park+ valet facility. The check-in was done in a jiffy by the cheerful Aman and Chanda under the supervision of Mr. Ashok who had already blocked a room for us, in advance. On many of the earlier occasions, Mr. Ashok had helped us with the bookings and on every single occasion, we hardly had any complaints regarding the rooms. Rooms: The Suite on the 5th floor was quite spacious and more than enough for the 3 of us. The sitting area had a huge 4 seater L-Shaped Sofa, a work station and TV cabinet ***** with all other necessities. The bedroom sported a wall to wall 3 door wardrobe, a King size bed and TV cabinet. The crowning glory was the huge size washroom with separate bathtub and shower area. The best thing about the room was the sufficient number of plug points spread all across. To beat the Winter cold, oil filled room heaters were immediately provided on request. Apart from the usual toiletries you would expect of a branded hotel, the placing of a fruit bowl and cookie jar were little acts that spoke volumes about the hospitality extended by the staff. Restaurant: The in-house Citrus Café restaurant of Lemon Tree is the icing on the cake. Under the supervision of the Restaurant Manager, Mr. Vinay and Chef. Abhishek and his team, the guests are treated to a huge array of exotic dishes cooked in homely style. Over the two days we noticed Mr. Vinay, personally attending to every single guest and dealing with extreme patience. We were surprised to find in the buffet such exotic dishes as Grilled Chicken in Wine Sauce, Baked Rasgulla, Beer Battered Fish to name a few. Thanks to Chef Abhishek and his team, what we can conclude at the end of the 2 days and 4 meals is that, the food is not made overtly spicy, rich or thick; so it will appeal to every type of traveller, even the health conscious ones. Moreover there are quite a few options for the health conscious travellers or those who are pure vegetarians. The attentive service by the always smiling Deepak Joshi and other team members namely, Arish, Manisha, Kamal, Pooran and Mayank was highly appreciable. Owing to high fever my son was unable to leave the room for an entire day but Mr. Vinay ensured that breakfast and dinner was served in the room. Housekeeping: Lemon Tree Hotels are able to maintain their huge properties, only due to the dedicated Housekeeping staff and Sector 60 is no exception. The meticulous cleaning of the room done on the second day of our stay by Mengneihoi and Sanjeev was appreciable. On our request all the bedsheets and duvet covers were changed. Overall experience: Our recent 2 day stay in January 2025
